Get paid, step up. Last year of the Sedin show. |

I think he is a good player. He deserves a good contract and there should be a changing of the guard but not in three years. This is the year to take over top spot. |

Isn't that what they are paying Hank to do this year? - VANTEL
My bad. So trade Sutter and resign the Sedins. Got it. |

This is another problem having the twins still here. The natural progression is move out the older players but only in Vancouver it gets done differently.
Next year will be Bo's 5 th year when the Sedins go. No need to bring them back. I would even shut them down around TDL |

Shame they can't be traded around TDL. One would think retaining most of their salary and sending them to a contender would be a great way to send them off. |

Because we have retained salary on two other players we can only retain salary on one .
As a coach in early February I would start sitting them out maybe 2 of 3 games. This is why.
1) you will see what life is like after the Sedins.
2) you would get a higher draft pick
3) if they are hoping to find another contract after this year they need to prove they are still players. This may convince them to request a trade so they can play. Sitting out for the final stretch run will not help them get another contract. |

I do too, I like Bo. I think he will be given an opportunity to take the top center role. What he does with it will be up to him. He has gotten better every year, here's hoping he can take the next step. |

The stench of your Sedin hatred overpowers my morning voiding of last night's beer and pizza, while I disagree vehemently I wholeheartedly agree with the power of your anger. The dark side has become strong in you, soon you will master all the arts of malignancy.
Speaking is hatred...... anyone going to the punch a Nazi in the face parade downtown today? |

And?
You will have Goldobin playing in the minors because there is no room
We are talking about moving a younger faster Sutter because there are no other options
We are talking about bringing them back in 2018 instead of spending our money wisely on future players.
We are talking about missing out on moving two expiring contracts for draft picks for the future of our club.
You are God damn right I have anger . I don't deny it. |

I was under the impression he was in the minors because he is not NHL ready. He gets one goal being a cherry-picker and people are freaking out because he has not been gifted a top 6 position. |

He would be playing third line . I imagine Sven Granlund or Loui would move up into the top spot.
Last year he had 15 goals and 26 assists in the AHL/NHL
The year previous 22G and 24 assists
The cherry picking comment ? Daniel Sedins hasn't seen his own D zone in years , so out with one old cherry picker in with a new one I guess
He played 15 games last year with the Comets/Canucks 7 goals |

That doesn't say much as no one can score on either team.
Goldoblin is unproven, in my opinion. He definitely has potential. |

He already has the numbers in the minors and has served his time but there is no roster spots available . Canucks send down waiver exempt players just like they did with Stecher last year. |

Interesting there are only two WHL prospects on this list. I wonder how many sleepers they might have missed?
http://www.thehockeynews....ands-out-in-first-edition - VanHockeyGuy
Ryan Pike who made the list says:
"The usual disclaimers apply: I live in Western Canada so I see Western Hockey League players the most often..."
So either he's more critical of WHL players or they suck compared to the rest. |

Pre-season? Shouldn't we be talking playoffs? I think we are a bubble team this year. |
