the difference between willie and TG is they've had years to observe TG before hiring. Its not so blind. Management is behind him and rightfully so, he's earned it.
We shall see he does with our group but he is a way better coach hands down. So we will be better - SMBDragon
The biggest difference is TG was an NHLer who changed his game to adapt.
That alone takes smarts & savvy & 1000 games was good proof.
That alone does not make a coach but a hands on coach who played & developed young players is what we need. He will be under scrutiny no doubt but for him its only another challenge he has worked hard for. His resume says he has progressed thru all levels & done well. |

"may be of interest to the Canucks such as Kerby Rychel, Kasperi Kapanen, Connor Brown, Jeremy Bracco or Josh "
I'm not a fan of any of the above for Canucks on dealing Tanev, are you? - Nuck4U
Would Brown & a 1st make any sense? Idk its a hard call. |

Is RNH the next Dutch on the rumor mill? Saw articles all over the place and EK through it up against the wall with Hab link.
Don't know where that leaves Canucks but if young Centers are on the market do they have the depth to put together a package of wingers and D to make a move? - Nuck4U
Yes we have the depth to trade what the Oil may seek.
Is RNH the long term solition for us idk though.
Our D would suffer a set back but looking ahead at the next draft & with OJ knocking on the door we could entertain the idea of Tanev moving. Brisebois would be key if he is ready very soon. Losing Tanev is one serious ballsy move we cannot replace right away. EG would then be a mainstay & a raise would be more palatable at a fair price. |

Would Brown & a 1st make any sense? Idk its a hard call. - Nighthawk
Yes a 1st would be a given since all their prospects are mid level and below. Prefer Brown for Canucks over the others but with JV and Gadjovich not so high on acquiring him. For losing Tanev you need another RD to move the puck and defend at high level. So would ask for Liljegren. Which the Laffs won't do and why they aren't a good partner for Canucks. We may have what they want but won't give up what we need for it. |
