Ottawa could be a prime trade partner if Tanev ever gets moved.

Maybe Colin White or more or a 1st could be realistic.

Karlsson/Tanev duo would be a great pairing for all situations.
Ceci in the 2nd pairing looks real good depth.

Or if it has to be LHD to compliment Karlsson then would be sweet if Edler waived to go to the Sens. That would fetch us less than a 1st prolly but a 2/3rd might do it. White would not happen.

I think the Tanev idea got beaten to death last season, plus I don't think any team in the league is taking a depth for injuries player like Tanev for 4plus million per.

Not very far at all lol
Some of the usual crap eg he's a 3rd D pairing or injured too much or not worth Brown etc etc etc. Tbh i didn't expect much else. Tanev has not much value for adding to their awesome D corp.

Personally speaking Brown & a 1st was not a bad asking price IMO

If you're talking fit for Tanev then look to:

Oil, Stars, Hawks, Pens, Devils, Isles, and Lafs that's it as far as teams having holes at RD. Tanev would be significant upgrade to what they have in line up and system.

Yeah I don't see a Tanev trade this season. Besides being a total tank move that JB isn't inclined to do he doesn't have a future top RD in the system. I'd guess after 2018 draft that would change and Tanev would be ripe for a 2019 trade.

I can see MDZ or Gudbrandson if he struggles traded at TDL but thats it. I think Tanev will be kept to develop OJ
