Dorsett has averaged 20 points per 82 games over his NHL career. That's solid production for a 4th liner. I don't care about what he did last year as he only played 14 games and was badly injured the whole time.

No I really don't - but as an example, Jimmy Hayes is tough, and he fights AND he's a hell of a lot better at everything else than Derek fawking Dorsett. I guess some just enjoy having god-awful, horrific players in our lineup.

I do agree that Dorsett is the only player that "givesash*t" - Marwood is completely accurate in saying that. Gudbranson and Labate are really the only other guys. I guess my biggest beef is that he's so god awful at literally everything else. And we settle for this, it sucks, there are other players available to do what he does, at a fraction of the price. And the truth is, we don't know what version of DD we're gonna get coming off that injury, there's a real chance that he could spend time in Utica this year.

DD will bring his lunch bucket which is always admirable. But will have to earn a spot as the bottom six has a lot of players competing there. It will depend on TG what look he wants with the player options. We do know he likes an aggressive forcheking game which is one area DD has excelled at. But you are right on the enforcer stuff he's not that intimidating or effective. So he'll have to show how well he can play.

It wasn't me Don. First I heard of it. So a guy who's looked on as enforcer thinks he's good to play with a broken neck? Then when he doesn't enforce properly the exciuse that some infamous poster would state is he couldn't stick up for Stecher as he had a broken neck. EG had to fight because he ran his mouth after the initial game telling a reporter to write down that Matt Martin was a dead man. He couldnt expect anyone else to step up after that
