Ryan kesler says hi - dbot
Why I found it funny too. Plus where were all the "good" GM's offer sheeting Draisatl |

The general discussion point, in case you missed it, was around an offer-sheet.
I pointed out a team that I thought might be willing to try one for the first time in about a decade.
No need to get your poop in a Knot.
I did add that I like Bo, but a 1st 2nd and 3rd in next draft is greater value than Bo Horvat IMO. - Renidrag
I assure you I'm very calm. I can also assure you no one is offer sheeting Bo but knock your socks off |

Hamonic got a 1st and 2 seconds. Are we overvaluing picks over established young players on the rise? |

What part of No wasn't clear? I did say there were some nice pieces and they have excitement going for them with their scoring. Best draft move they made was Liljegren but kind of reminiscent on how the others fell their way too. No bold or ballsy type drafting with foresight. Which is what I would have given kudos for to answer Codes take on giving credit. But for Codes to know I would say they did a good job moving contracts and getting picks.
Maybe some tankers are envious of the Laffs future. But their short sighted simplistic approach to building a winner are akin to Laff nation. Who upon winning the lotto gamble, followed by one good season, have declared the rebuild over. Now talking about a window period.
So again, won't trade what the Canucks have going for them. They are building talent in ALL positions. Happy to see that unfold then trade it away for a crash and burn possible future. But again enjoy the high. The pressure just rises more and more from here on up. - Nuck4U
Sure
Sounds like you're talking from experience. I guess you'd know all about weak drafting and the pressure of rising quickly followed by a meteoric fall.
Try again. |

Ok Jagr is slow. We don't need another cherry picker, we have too many already - VANTEL
Many players in the league are slow…however 99% won't give you 45 points for 1mil per.
On one hand I agree with you but really there is no way a one year Jagr signing would hurt this club that many think are destined for the bottom 5 anyway. Just my opinion not trying to offend anyone but I really think his attitude, work ethic and a few other things he brings just very well may lift this club up a notch. |

No way.
Given how many draft picks are busts, there is no way you trade your future captain and a solid 2c (not elite imo) for a roll of the dice. |

seems a little crazy.
you'll need a few vets as the other rookies start to roll in.
leafs would have struggled last year without kadri, even bozak. |

Offer Sheets don't work . It all started with Stingers post . Dave Pratt has been panicking again and ranting on 1040 angering his troops. It will never happen but if someone was stupid enough I would look at the OS |

He won't get 45 on Canucks . We don't have their talent.
He doesn't back check and he has bad hair. Just walk away |

unless some OS's Bo at something stupid like 8m (2 1sts, 2nd, 3rd comp), i think you'd match right away and then counter-offer one of their RFAs. |

My take is if someone wanted to OS him it would have been done already |

Hearing more than 1 RFA thinking about Europe and Russia, does it make #Canucks fans nervous about Bo Horvat situation. |
