Matt Reeves clarified his comments earlier today on Twitter. The movie is part of the DCEU, but it's a standalone story. Same Batman, but it's not going to be saddled with cameos or trying to service some DCEU-wide story.

Apparently he is a big Sabres Fan. I read something online that we were his team growing up. So that might be in our favor.

Also, not sure if you've been to Vegas or not, I haven't personally, but have talked to multiple people that have said it's a great place to visit and horrible place to live.

I agree he isn't some big prize, but as you say it's zero risk. I'm hopeful.
