I forgot if I read something or heard Nolan interviewed, but he came off as kinda not a personality I would want. And when you hear Nico interviewed you would think he was picked dead last. I would wager the Devils chose him, at least partially because he is such a team first player, which is a perfect for a Devil. - Leniwm1

Anyone hear the rumor Henrique + Top Prospect for Seguin? - Leniwm1
That would probably be Zacha, right? Why would Dallas do that? It seems like they're gearing up for a run this year. Now it would make some sense to send them Henrique+ for Heiskanen so they are more equipped to compete now, but that wouldn't happen. |

I thought something about that interview or how it was cut was unfavorable to Nolan. |

I could see Nico getting more PP time, so I wouldn't necessarily agree. I was really just making a joke. I expect the Flyers to bring Patrick along pretty slowly in terms of sheltering and responsibility - YuenglingJagr
I knew you were just teasing a little and the PP is a good point. You guys also have more of luxury of developing Patrick while we are more desperate to inject Nico into the lineup (which isn't a good thing to force). Hopefully both guys have long fruitful careers and we can debate about them for a long time.
As for the personality thing, I know nothing about it. The little I've heard they both sound like good kids. I thought Patrick was very gracious in the post draft interviews. |

I see Hischier in the 15-18 goal 30-35 assist area in his first season. Same with Patrick.
I see Hischier already in the top six with NJ. Patrick most likely will be on the 3rd or 4th line with Philly so his numbers may increase slightly if he gets PP time.

The write up for Mattais http://www.eliteprospects...om/player.php?player=6013
has his hockey sense as good but his size is a factor. He did very well and continues to in HV71. The few games I saw him play he was getting hammered and his speed and I guess hockey sense was negated by the physical play.
I see Nico as a bigger kid but he needs to fill out more, Hopefully his hockey sense can make the jump to the physicality of the NHL. - Devils65
I don't agree with that. He had hands, he had speed, but he just wasn't a smart player. People obsess way too much over size. And there were plenty of articles praising Yakupov's hockey sense during his draft year, but ask any analyst now and they'll tell you that's what's missing from his game. |

My guess is Nico starts on the 3rd line this season while Zacha starts on the 2nd Nico will be given plenty of PP time and depending how his season goes he might end up centering the 2nd line towards the end of the year. |

He'll probably average 0.5 PTS/GP. 40 is a reasonable expectation.
Nolan Patrick will score 20 goals and 50 points, though. |
