Noel and Dan, The Arena issue is big however The Islanders fail to make the PO's again this year JT is not signing imho. Hope this doesn't happen but its a possibility.
As far as the Arena, The Islanders new home Arena is who the state wants to get the project.

Also I hope when you guys do the 100th Podcast in NYC, Dan can call in from a remote location to make it sound authentic

I remember one year they were talking about the Islanders and the players had to buy their own sticks when they broke and they only had 23 pieces of chicken for 24 players for the Christmas dinner. This had to be milbury years it was a ways back but it just shows how long this team has

I understand the thought process, but there is no way they get back JT's value in a trade. The return will still set them back years. Granted if he walks it will set them back a lot more years. I still say it's more likely he signs than not (I base that only on a gut feeling).

I don't think the Isles will be mathematically eliminated by the trade deadline. That means there is no way Snow will trade JT. We will just have to deal with this all season.
