I was actually wondering what it would be like to wear Emily Ratajkowski's ass like the Bane mask. |

I wouldn't even pencil him into this year's line up. Trade him for Adam Larsson. |

hey I found it hilarious that Tavares didn't make the NHL top NHLers under 25 years old last year but this year when his contract up NHL.com had him as #6 on the top center list. Jeremy Roenick said he is #4 on his list.
Hate to hate a bit here but I love John Tavares but he isn't better than a healthy Steve Stamkos. |

Not sure if it's true but on Reddit, I saw that Mike Bossy said Tavares declined an extension similar to Price's.
Price's is $84mm fwiw |

Not sure what he's expecting if he turned down an over 10 million per contract? 11? 12? Sorry he's not Mcdavid, not even close. Offer him 10.5 or 11 and if he has to think about it trade him. Let someone else deal with this BS. I don't blame the guy for having his reservations but he knows by now what he's doing. Let's get on with it already. |

i totally agree, once you start getting over 10mm a year that pretty obnoxious.
I do think he took modest salary in his last salary to help snow so he is deserving of some in this one. But once you start thinking 11MM or more its starts to get a big outrageous.
It doesn't matter, way the salaries are going we are certainly headed for another NHL lockout in few years whenever that happens. |

If he's turning down that type of offer, it's probably less about wanting more money and more about finding a more "stable" team that is closer to contending. Isles have unfortunately been treading water more or less the past few years with Snow making the same mistakes year over year.
The thing is though that if he does hit free agency, I'm sure there are plenty of teams that will offer 8.5mm or so per year and maybe a couple in the 10-11mm range, but those in that 10-11mm range are probably desperate rebuilding teams since the stronger teams won't have that type of cap space available, so he'll have to leave A LOT of money on the table if he's serious about going to a legitimate and perennial contender. |

If the isles brass paid Alex "no heart" Yashin 10 for 10, surely they can offer similar numbers to their franchise player entering his prime. |
