good luck to Subban Although, I think Juolevi, Wieroch and Holm all have a better chance of making the team. - CanuckDon
Subban as a RHD is in tough.

As Pettersson gets bigger, faster, stronger I hope that he'll be able to play more center. Right now he probably has the wrist strength of a nine year old and couldn't win a draw to save his life, but that'll come with time. Hell even Crosby (sissy) struggled on the dot his first few years.
There's a lot of pressure on this kid to turn out with zero prospect depth at center. Maybe Jimbo can fix that over the next couple drafts? - LeftCoaster
I was a C before getting moved to D & there is much more to winning FO's than wrist strength. Tie up the other C for a winger win is for strength. Anticipation is the best attribute but cannot rely solely on that. Getting low and bottom hand down low is the best positioning. The reversing of the bottom hand is done only if it seems a sure advantage but is a stronger set-up to draw the puck back. Wingers can tie up their check if a C goes solo. So much depends on what choice is made for winning draws other than a C vs C. |

Off on a tangent...
If we had a team full of Krutov's then JV would be a conditioning coach & top 3 W. |

everyone is really sleeping on Gaudette. He was fantastic last season and should be one of the top players in NCAA this season. |

I sincerely hope he works out to be an awesome pick, however, I'd like to see more than two kids who MIGHT become NHL players in terms of depth. That's where I'm coming from. |

they may actually be set at center depending upon Petersson's development. Guadette is the real deal and Horvat is young. Wing is solid, goaltending is excellent. Our D prospect pool is pretty weak |

I can't envision a scenario where Guadette and Petersson don't make the NHL. They should be pretty close to locks. But I hear you, we need another big draft next year. |

As a sophomore.
Its understandable to sleep on Senior classmen, but to perform among the best in your second year is very impressive. Hopefully he continues to see success this coming year |
