I am making the change to Telus. 20 years of shaw and they won't cut me a deal for my internet. All they have ever done is called and complain that I have been going over my data limit(300GB), but when I initially got that plan it was unlimited data. No deals and 20 years of never missing a payment as well as complaining about it.
6 years ago I called them and complained about my poor television picture and internet quality. They said that the line from the street to my house needed to be replaced. I said put me on the list and was told to expect a service rep any time. After only 5 years of me complaining about the problem it was finally fixed. Terrible customer service in my opinion.
As per Vantel, I am fine with a 2 year mistake. The last conversation I had with a shaw rep his last words were "What are you going to do go with Telus? Thats a mistake."
Canucks Don may have it right. Customer service still means something. - thundachunk
Then talk to the LCT department. They are the only ones that have deals for existing customers. |

Who said anything about 2018 or 2019, it may take three or four more years beyond that. |

Interesting vision. So in five or six years they'll be able to draft the players needed. That seems like a new round of rebuild from this one. Thus, this tanking vision brings the risk of staying in a rut of failure hoping for the savior. So not much of a plan then. |

No....If you can do the math, which appears to be an issue for you, the kids they've drafted in the past two years, the future, will only be 24 or 25 years old in five or six years, and in their prime.
Plus they'll have a couple veterans like Horvat and Boeser.

It's amazing how "three or four more years" become "five or six years" in your response. |

The issue is your math makes no sense. All those players wouldn't be part of the equation of a rebuild starting around a generational player six years from now. If the team wasn't better by then they'd be busts. |

He said three or four years from 2018 and 2019 amazing comprehension you have.
Edit: because posts aren't accumulated in totality when others jump in this began with a question to Lefty's post. He suggested Canucks follow the tanking Oiler and Pens model that they got generational players. Lotto logic aside. Asked who is that for 2018 and 2019? Response will take longer like 3 or 4 years. Meaning no one can be seen but keep tanking and eventually the savior will come. |

No....you're a confused soul, just because I said Benning keeps up the New Years tank's doesn't mean they're getting four first overall picks or a generational player. They could be picking anywhere in the top ten with maybe a couple top two or three picks.
I also said "It may take three or four years beyond that", 2018/2019, I didn't say it has to take that long, did I? If they hit two home runs in the next three years the chances are it won't take beyond 2020.
I believe it took the Blackhawks six years of solid drafting and some lottery luck from the time they drafted Keith in 2002 until they won the lottery in 2008 to select Kane. Six years of solid drafting to establish a core is really not that long. |

Maybe you were leading me down the faith on the savior path with your Pens and Oiler praising that led to the questioning. But if you want to reverse that and talk accumulation of draft picks then I'm with you on that train. Just maybe we differ when it left the station.
I believe 2013 is the correct mark because of Bo and Granlund acquired from Shink. Then 2014 Demko, JV. Haven't written off Tree/value. Will have an impact to core. We see 2015 with BB now and Guadette about to hit. 2016 with OJ coming on. Lockwood is an outlier. Now sprinkle in those drafts to the add on trades of Dahlen and Goldy. This all stocks up well with promising 2017.
Then add the above to the current young vets on D and Sven there is a nexus forming there. Why 2018 could be a peeking point for turnaround. Hit the lotto and it's on. |
