I have a trade deadline trade to announce.
Vancouver trades Brandon Sutter to the New York Rangers in exchange for Marc Staal and New Yorks 1st round pick in the 2018 NHL entry draft.
It's okay, New York found out they needed a defensive pivot. Staal will probably be sent to the minors for the last 3 years of his contract. Saving Van 905,000 in Cap space or claimed, to which the 1st round pick will be making 925,000. |

With the increase in the salary cap, doesn't the amount change on what can be buried?

Even the practices are interesting, there are two rinks at SOEC so there's always something to see. Lots of NHL people in town. A great weekend.

our division got even better after this offseason (even Phoenix got better by adding Stepan), I doubt the Sedins can keep up. I am betting they regress from last season even more, so not much to worry about.
