Mason passed the first test in style....good arm strength with long passes on target, good touch as well. Post game interview revealed a down to earth kid with good poise.

He statistically was one of the worst passers in the NHL last season, on par with Nic Delauriers.

I still can't figure out which center he'd have the most impact with. Eichel is the easy answer, but he has a tendancy to be a puck hog, and Eichel does too.

Kane will have a 30+ goal season with Eichel. It's a contract year. He will not take any offer from cap strapped Sabers because of all their high profile RFA's. Then Kane will go to UFA and cash in with a western based team. Likely his hometown Canucks who will have the cap room and need. Plus young players ready to turn them into a contender.
