The great thing about skunk is that he can play with either Jack or ROR. Or you could throw him in as 3rd line center. Great flexibility with the kid. Plus he is stellar on the powerplay.

I don't hate Gorges, but at this point, I think he's got some serious work ahead of him if he has even a remote chance of jumping over someone else for a roster spot.

The best place for him this year is the press box, IMO

gorges is a defensive defenseman who should be a third-pairing/pk guy when in the lineup...I can see a team being interested in him come trade deadline if he's used in that role and is playing well

I don't disagree with any of this. I'm fine with him as a 6/7 guy. There's always injuries, which is why teams generally carry an extra dman on the roster.

I mean it wasn't long ago we managed to trade Mike Weber to the Caps...Gorges can definitely be moved this year if he does ok, even in and out of the lineup.
