Brissett has some upside and while Dorsett is a speedy little bastard...you have Cooks, Hogan, Amendola and Gronk...what are you trading for a receiver for even with Edleman gone? They have Garapolo but his contract would be enormous as a backup if he was retained.

Bold prediction: The Pats won't be good in 3 years time.

There's a good chance of that. I don't know though, it seems eventually all good coaches are figured out. They have the same "window" as athletes in some sense. I see some chinks in the armor coming their way soon, that's all.

I don't know. The Gilmore contract was shocking to me, very un-Patriot-like extension there. Trading a solid QB prospect for a known entity in Dorsett seems like a reach to me, whether it works out for this year or not.
