The way that some people were being critical of Taylor you'd think he'd have had a game like Andy Dalton did yesterday. - HonkFortheGoose
How many people think Andy Dalton is good enough to win a SB?
I'd say probably 0. |

Week one I mean the Steelers only beat the Browns by 3.
All in all the amount of yards the Bills gained was a good thing, just need to finish their drives off with points. Next week should be a good test. I'm just happy football is back because that means hockey is coming soon. - Stripes77
Browns have a pretty good d, coached by greg Williams...should keep them in a lot of games this year |

Roethlisberger is also historically average on the road.

Where did I say that Dalton was going to win a SB? I didn't.
But he's gotten them to the playoffs multiple times. You mean to tell me you wouldn't take that right now?

You yourself was complaining about the Watkins trade and how you were looking forward to seeing what the Bills offense would look like with McCoy Clay and a healthy Watkins with Tyrod and now after a win you're complaining about Tyrod in week freaking 1...you're unable to enjoy a win.
Now complain it was against the Jets...well guess what that's who they were scheduled to play. Wait until a loss to complain would you?

The Jets D isn't a joke like their offense is.
There's just a lot of complaining after a win |

After seeing the jets play, there's no way they go 0-16. They play a conservative game and mccown is surprisingly competent (if unexciting) if they end up on the better end of the turnover differential a couple times, they can win a game here and there |

Nobody is saying the Bills are super bowl bound but this negativity crap gets old especially after a win...if they lost or won 9-6 then by all means pile on. |

that's a good point as well...not saying browns are gonna approach .500, but they'll be in some games this year because of their defense |

McCowan if allowed will dink and dunk all game long. I was surprised with how bad their running game was though. Not sure if the Bills run defense is good or the Jets are just that bad running the football |

See, here's the thing. We're glass half full kind of people. Some are glass half empty. We tend to get on each others nerves at times.
I'm with you. Take the win and be happy. God knows we've seen far fewer of them than losses between both teams for quite some time.
Guess my happiness means I'm settling for mediocrity. If that's the case, so be it. I'd rather live my life feeling happy than angry about everything all the time. |

So now we are left with Gorges, Antipin, Guhle, Falk, Fedun, and Beaulieu all vying for the 5/6 slots
I would guess that part of Antipin's deal was that he would be given NHL minutes..why else would he have come over to play for the Sabres..
Falk and Fedun are almost assured to be starting the season in Roch
I don't see Gorges being sent down to Roch, probably be the 7th d-man
So that leaves Guhle and Beaulieu for that 6 slot....which sucks because, since JB traded for Beaulieu, I would have to think Guhle gets stuck in Rochester

I'd say Dallas has a better all around roster than New England minus the QB position. However Brady is the X factor. The Chiefs however look legit. So any hopes that I had of them falling apart isn't going to happen. |

Guhle in Rochester isn't a bad thing. Before the additions on the blue line I had him in the top 6 in Buffalo, but now let him be a top pairing in Rochester at least half the year. |

Guhle being in Rochester for this year isn't a bad thing. Let him go there and play top pair mins and get PP time. He probably won't get a lot of that here right now. Nothing wrong with not rushing him into the NHL lineup. |

no, gorges is stuck...in the press box. 20 year old d-man getting top pair minutes in what we hope will be a competitive AHL team is...good. |

guhle in Rochester for a year isn't a bad idea...that said, training camp and the preseason will dictated the top-6 |

kc might be another team that he could thrive on...
although, before I jump on the superbowl-bound chiefs bandwagon, i'd prefer to see a couple of games and i'll be looking to see how they do after a stinker |

id say its pretty much set. There are, for the first time in years, 5 and a half competent nhl defencemen on the roster. And since we cant actually split bogo in half, its likely these 6 will make up the D for the year. It might be better for Guhle in the long run to have that top pair role in rochester anyways. |
