Considering someone else has had the stupidest poster of the week since last October this is a real achievement.

Did you pick him also? Really don't get your point, every single years there are a lot of players that get passed by till later rounds that end up being good if not great NHL players.

My point is again the the post. Bad teams dont draft well*. These are signs to me that Benning and his group are not fit for there job moving forward.

Wow, two giveaways by Denver's offence in two series. Making the game interesting.

One drive the entire game the Chargers had. 4th Quarter comes around the Broncos start looking like the Canucks.

Their were two prospect alot teams missed in the 2nd and 3rd round this year. The Canucks should of jumped on them, but didnt. Nikita Popugaev, Zach Fischer. They is no excuse for the Nucks Oil. They are in your back yard, you should know about them.

I get the first three picks for the Canucks but come on.

- FiretheGM

Talking about unproven prospects that we "missed" is amateur hour. You don't know what you are talking about, our 2nd rounders are just as likely to make it as fisher and popagaev.

1st off made a mistake i was replying to Thunda and should have stated the date as yesterday because it was Calgary they played where he played poorly.

2nd, enjoy it while you can because what's been missing will be back soon... , so post often while you still can

About the prospects Van actually has. I hope Laplante, D'Aoust dont get anything other then an AHL contract. Had to use Mackenzie in the middle of them not to get scored on. I dont think anyone who got invited has earned a look at main camp.

Out of all those kids at the prospect camp, two or three of them will have NHL careers, I don't know what all the fuss is about. It's the same for every organization.

If a team produces one quality NHL'er out of each draft they've done well, two they've done excellent. The tournament has about three draft classes in it, so three kids is about average.

I would say off the Van roster, probably 6-8 will have NHL careers.

Though we would like a few to be playing in the NHL now it makes more sense to get minutes in the AHL or Junior. It takes time to be an NHLer. Not everyone is Bo Horvat.

I feel a decent year for an established team is to ship one expired player out and import one prospect that has matured to the NHL level.

After watching the last three games you can see OJ needs more time. Boeser is still a maybe and we need to see if JV is ready.

OJ needs tougher competition on a regular basis. OHL would be a waste. His growth is stunted. By the end of pre-seson you will see a much different OJ.
