It seems like a win/win then. I've been wrong before, last weeks NFL picks are a good example.

I made two tickets last week. 6 games each. An entire division cost me, one game on each ticket. FFS.

Los Angeles Kings defenseman Drew Doughty walked back comments made earlier about potentially leaving the Kings. Initially, Doughty told the Hockey News that he just wanted to win Stanley Cups and that he didn’t care where he played. Today, he clarified those comments by saying he only wants to win a Cup in Los Angeles. Doughty has two more years left on his deal before he becomes an unrestricted free agent.

In 15/16 Jake spent 49% with Sven and Horvat, 19% Burrows and Sutter, 15% Sven and Granlund, 9% Burrows, Horvat and 9% Sedins.

Dont change the narrative here , you said he struggled because he was playing with Chaput and Skille. That you didn't care the conditions he scored 45 in juniors just that he did it.

Of course this team isn't as skilled as it once was...

It's a sh1t team ,JV should not be singled out. He is probably one of the fastest, He is the only one that will crash the net. He is the only one to make big hits.

Eeyore can throw all his fancy stats he wants but he lost me when he said JV played with a lot of skilled forwards. I didn't realized JV got traded

This team does not support each other at all , that is the biggest reason people want to push the trash out the door.

His fancy stats flat out pointed that he played quite a bit with Horvat/Sven who many here think are our best line.

Horvat started off in the bottom 6 and earned his way up. Tanev started out as a 6/7 dman and earned his way up. Burrows started off playing ball hockey and earned his way onto a top NHL line. They all played with scrubs and still played well and earned more ice time.

How many games did JV play with 40 pt Bo and 33 point Sven eight games or nine?

I would wager our best line will be whoever TG puts with the Sedins. Like it or not they are still the best players we have.

Our top player last year finished 86 th in scoring , that is why I have a problem with the wording of skilled or elite forward.

It is not hard to figure out that if your best player finishes that low , your team will suck.

That is why I think when contracts expire look for better answers.

All true, especially when that same top scorer just signed for the next six years, can't wait for that contract to expire and look for better answers.

I said he had plenty of opportunities with talented linemates after you suggested his struggles were attributed to playing with Chaput and Skille and that he didn't get a chance to play with Sven and Bo.

I then showed you the actual numbers....these are not fancy stats just plain old boring numbers which don't support your narrative. If you don't like it take it up with your eyes.

I'm not singling out Jake, I've states many times I think he is and will be a good complimentary player.

I think we will see Horvat and Eriksson replace them this year based off of ice time and roles but agree they are still the most talented.

Bo is a good player our best. He is part of the next gen. Canucks need to go out and find 5 or 6 more.

I would do the math of what 49% of 55 games would be but would be worried you wouldn't accept the answer.

Like I said earlier he spent 60% of the time playing with 4 of the Canucks top 5 scorers. Yes those players are still poop compared to many in the league but don't pretend he hasn't been given opportunities on this team.

I think Horvat is a good player, I was just pointing out that in your haste to throw criticism at Sedin, you chose the wrong person as best player which was actually Horvat by two points.

When he played with the Twins all three players were struggling and WD was throwing mud at the wall and hoping it could stick.

I seriously only remember him playing with sophomore Bo who only put up 40 points that year less than 10 games.

I know he played with McCann and Burrows and Higgins and Prust but I really don't remember long stretches of Bo Sven JV

I think I've supported my views with plenty of reasonable information, it's your turn to do the same.
