Need a 4th line that will throw a few more hits. White and Upshall would bring a much more physical side then Megna and Chaput. A lot more experience as well. - manvanfan
Yes would help but the minute munchers on the 1st 2nd & 3rd lines could do the same.
It will take us more time to balance out lines with different attributes. The 4th line alone cannot carry the load alone.
Possibly JV Gadsjovich Lind can do so down the road. |

JV and Gadjovich would add some muscle to the top 9. Lind, i'm not so sure he would add much toughness.
He helped us work on our cycle game down low because he gave us that confidence to get in those gritty areas and be physical. He was sort of the opposite of us.
Sedin's could use another Anson Carter. |

True
As much as I dislike Dim Jim Benning as a GM, I do feel he's getting better at his job. That said, I firmly believe they wasted the first two years of his tenure trying to compete when they had no business doing so. - LeftCoaster

Sedin's could use a swan-song to make this a great year. - manvanfan
Gadjovich as a second liner (future hope) and Virtanen as a third liner (again future hope) would definitely add some size & scoring to the team.
Oh....and I fixed the bottom part for you |

Gadjovich could be a first liner just because of the way he plays. Sort of like Maroon with McDavid. |

If we had a center who was actually a skilled first line center I may agree with you, all a big guess at this point as we have a bunch of unknowns. Maybe Pettersson will be that guy, maybe he won't, I certainly hope he is! |

Again if he's a legit top 4 dman he should have made Hutton look better than he is, clearly both of them suck unless carried by a legit top 4 dman like Gudbranson was by Campbell and Hutton was with Tanev when he finally started looking decent at the end of the season. Anyone who watches the games could see this. - Nucker101
So put him with Edler if it makes the team better. Gudbransen is a great complimentary player. He is top 4 imo. |

It would be a successful year for me if we iced a lineup in a pre-season game, like this, against the Ducks.
4th
Labate White Upshall
3rd
Dorsett MacEwen Virtanen
2nd
Sedin Sedin Dahlen
1st
Gadjovich Bo Lind
Defense
Gudbranson Pedan
McEneny Edler
Stewart Weircioch

From what Green says he has a huge board in his apartment of potential line combos he is looking at. |

No idea, playoffs to me is a reach.
I also think TG will get some schooling from his counterparts.
Injuries and the old guard buying into the new system.
I'm sticking with bottom 5. |

That's utter bs. Tryamkin leaving had zero to do with Benning. He was hated in the dressing room and hated by the coaching staff. Benning treated him with kid gloves.
Edit. Technically the coach was employed by Benning so he deserves critism for hiring the wrong guy. But he went over the top trying to keep the kid happy. Only so much a GM can do when a player isn't welcome in the dressing room - CanuckDon
Your hairdresser must be better connected than Scooby's to be getting all these juicy details.... honestly this this first time I've heard he was hated by the locker room. Do you have anything to back that up?
Like I said, I don't know the details but it doesn't really matter, one of our better young players decided he didn't want to be on this team and ultimately that's on Benning, fair or not.

The potential is there but you are right its a big reach.
I have no expectations from Green some here have him as the second coming.
Injuries have always been an issue with this team.
I will go with 18th. |

I agree, they will be hard pressed to make playoffs but I think they will be improved a lot.
Goaltending is their biggest question mark IMO. |

Benninig couldn't get a deal done. Personnel issues were dealt with poorly, though we do not know the back story it is still his responsibility.
I don't but the not liked controversy. |

He claims to know one of the towel boys or trainers or something of that sort, but really, who cares if he wasn't liked, apparently he thinks no team in history has had a player the other guys didn't like.
It happens all the time, from my experience. |

Even if that's accurate, today it would probably be a different story.
~Two new Russians on the team, in case he gets homesick
~An influx of new players on the team
~New coach/system
He might also be a self serving me first kind of guy, so if that's the case. Good riddance.

I want to be optimistic too but realistically this team just can't stay away from injuries and it will bite us at some point.
Even with Vanek Gagner and MDZ I still have us finishing around 24th. |
