I can remember a back and forth with someone here a while ago, but that was someone pushing his buttons.

I am just talking about hockey man. Is that not allowed? Im not making fun of anyone or talk crap? Just sharing my opinion on a blog site.

That is my point, please read what I posted. Alot of teams* But the oilers and canucks need to be better. These players are in their backyard. They come to there city to play. I just think that it was a mistake that they are not apart of these organizations. These kind of mistakes are the main reason rebuilds last longer then they should.

Yes because you get 7 picks out of 217 picks in the draft. Van and the Oilers should be picking the 7 best players in the entire draft every year. You know because they play in their backyards. You know?

I watch a ton of Cougars hockey and I can tell you Popogyev has a ton of skill but he is lazy, not the best skater and he chokes under pressure. He counts on the players around him to do the work and he finishes. I am by no means a pro scout but if I can see his faults so can they.

Oh I agree with that, but he has a great skill set. You hope when you draft players in the later rounds you can teach them out of there bad habits. That being said, it doesn't always happen. I just like him a lot when you think about players taking before him, who dont have as much upside. Canucks are bare all over, you dont think he shoots up ladder in this organization after this Tourney? He has as much of chance of making it in the NHL as Lind in my opinion. 6,5 big shooter.

Johnny Gaudreau was a fourth round pick..

Oh I agree with that, but he has a great skill set. You hope when you draft players in the later rounds you can teach them out of there bad habits. That being said, it doesn't always happen. I just like him a lot when you think about players taking before him, who dont have as much upside.
