Flyers leading by Jan 1st is a huge long shot but not impossible. We all have seen what a young group in Toronto was able to accomplish.
In order for this to happen Neurvirth\Elliot will need to be good, Young guns(Provorov, Ghost, Konecny, Weal, Couturier, Frost, Vecchione, Patrick and Ratcliffe, Hagg and Morin will need to be big contributors) and Giroux and Voracek will need to rebound as well. |

23# The Bruins and Pastrnak do not come to terms. Pastrnak absolutely tears up the KHL. Then bangs Kovalchuks wife while on a Seguin level cocaine bender. He's then labeled as an uppity kid and traded for Danny Kristo, Louis Leblanc, and a 100$ Tim Hortons gift card. |

#6. Despite saying they will retire as Canucks at some point this season a major Canadian media outlet will report they are considering being rentals.

Ek. If you're going to act like a hero for some past wacky predictions coming true then you should actually make them wacky. Most of these and past ones that have come true are not wacky at all and many MSM and fans have made the same predictions.
And fix your dam site FFS. - Iggysbff

Ek,
Just a few comments to your list:
- Re #1: The Preds were so much fun to watch in the post-season, just like the Kings were a few years ago. I hope you're not only right about this, but they end up sealing the deal in the next few years.
- Re #11: I agree w/this whole-heartedly, and I think he would've been a finalist this past year had it not been for his high-ankle injury. I would even be willing to bet a healthy Eichel can safely make a run for the Art Ross as well.
- Re #14: I hope you're wrong about Matt Duchene. I'd love to see him in a Sabres uniform, but I can't see any trade btwn Buffalo & Colorado for Duchene to not include Evander Kane, and I'm not sure Colorado would be willing to take him given past off-ice (and locker room) issues. Granted, I've heard he's been good in the locker room in Buffalo, and he's been quiet for sometime off-ice (probation will do that to you), but he does have a past pattern of conduct. I personally like him, and think his best days are ahead of him in Buffalo, but I do think he's the obvious asset to go to Colorado if a trade for Duchene were to take place.
- Re #22: Since #11 is my favorite (b/c I'm biased for the Sabres being from Buffalo), then this is a close second for predictions that I hope come true. I REALLY hope the Nordiques make their return; it'll be an awesome shot in the arm for the Eastern Conference. |

So are you saying the NHL is going to re-align the Conferences again to add an expansion Quebec team or are you saying a team is going to move to Quebec?
Because as it sits right now, the only expansion is in the West seeing how it still has one less team then the East. |
