Keep expectations in check. Patrick is just off a surgery that takes a while to get your game back, has only felt 100 pct for about three weeks and is in his first NHL camp to boot. May take him a little while to settle in. Two things do stand out, though: very fast shot release and he sees the ice well.

I just want to be able to see the entire ice surface and to have a headset with sufficient wire. Didn't have either in 2009.

You just have to control what you can control and work with the rest. I remember you being super uncomfortable in 2009 and I think that started with them kind of "hanging you out to dry" on the dress code. You recovered nicely once it became about the players and the play.

Agree. I think they want him and Myers playing all situations and handling tough minutes.

I know they have some vets in Brennan and O'Neil but i see Sanheim, Myers and Friedman playing a lot and in different situations
