I believe Kane is talking about how they trained / skated together in the off-season, not necessarily in the scrimmages or anything team related. He did the same with Hinostroza. - L_B_R
He is indeed. They all spent the offseason in Chicago |

I'm just having fun with line combos and put together the smallest second line I could think of.
I have posted many times that I am taking a wait-and-see approach with Debrincat and all the other rookies. A few guys really stepped up at the rookie tournament, but I don't think that means they will all make the jump to the NHL in October. Throughout the season I would expect the likes of Debrincat and Hayden to get a call up, the only question is will they be able to stay with the big club. - DarthKane
the short line - Debrincat 5'7", Hinostroza 5'9" and Louis 5'8".
the short back line - Norell 5' 11" and Pokka 5'11"
Berube 6'1" in goal

Panger comes out of retirement as your goalie...Darren is 5' 5" |

Not surprising if he's still experiencing concussion symptoms. |

It wasn't bad goal tending - square to the shooter, Hayden probably couldn't see much of net from there and got it to just get in off the post. The defense was bad, but mostly because they were tired as they'd been on the ice for a while as Saad-Toews-Panik controlled the play. - L_B_R
My thoughts exactly. From that angle he had to use the post which makes it a difficult shot and a pretty goal.

anybody think this is all for show so they can keep him on LTIR all season instead of send him down to Rockford. I agreement in principle with Roz that they would not send him to LTIR but that there is also not a place for him on the roster? Concessions are one that doctors cannot really disprove. It would make sesnse. I'm sure he does not want to play in Rockford this year but he does want to get paid. |

His agent was the first one to bring it up in an interview where he was saying he was excited to be back. Doesn't sound like a ploy or anything. |

So is it everyone's thinking they will LTIR both Hoss and Rosy after first day of season?

it's an option depending on how bad his post concussion symptoms are. He's 39, so it's probably harder to come back from that. |

My point is they would have to sell the injury, they cannot just throw a guy on LTIR for no reason. My thought is why would it even get out there 3 weeks ago? Nobody is talking abut Roz. IE it was very convenient timing. Same thing happened with hossa. It felt like they had someone leak the info to the media so they can start timeline for LTIR. |

Doesn't seem necessary to me. I think the agent interviewed was both Hossa and Rozis guy, so they asked about him. The league is pretty loose with LTIR for concussion stuff, especially on a minimum salary guy. He could just as easily be buried in Rockford. |

Anyone put on LTIR has to be verified by the NHL, so they do not need to sell anything to the fans. There is no reason to do that.
And it wasn't 3 weeks ago - it was last week on the 6th. The reason it started to come up then is because the players were arriving back in Chicago and people were talking to agents. They also don't need to put Rozsival on LTIR since he's completely able to be buried in the AHL. |

you don't want other teams to claim we circumventing the cap and its possible Roz and Bow had to a deal that he would not have to play in the rock. For how little we hear from agents in regard to all our important players but we do hear from Roz's 3 weeks before training camp? Did we hear from Teows, Kane, keith, sharp, craw, Saad etc's agent this off season? The hawks keep all injuries totally under wraps but they make it public about hossa and Roz? Just my opinion. They could have just said roz was out today with a upper body injury. that is what they normally do. Why do they have the agent bring it up and then have Q confirm.

Love following the Hawks on Twitter. Some notes I picked up
-Dauphin to Wingels for a nice goal
-Pokka from AA for a nice goal
-Saad/Toews/Panik looking great
-Sharp is still fast (if he stays healthy this is a huge player for the Hawks)
-Kempny blast followed up by the Captain for a goal
-Connor Murphy seems like a cool guy. I am so SOOOO rooting for him considering the trash people have said about him. Kid was captain for team USA. Yes sucks losing Hammer, but this kid is our guy now, I'm behind him.
And last but not least
Quenneville on John Hayden: "I thought he might have been the most noticeable guy out there." #Blackhawks |

Bouma can be buried 100% in Rockford if needed. - DarthKane
Oh sure, but one thing that will happen this year that didn't last year. No one will be handed a job because of 18 goals in the AHL or college credentials.
Conversely, no veteran in the bottom 6 can be complacent either.
The bottom 6 will be the six best guys suited to those roles, night in and night out. That alone could improve the club versus last year.

Lots of teams announced their physical failures the past couple days. I think you're just reading in to it a bit. |
