He's played six years, 339 games, in the league, that's half a career for a lot of guys in the league. In my mind what you've seen is what you get. There's no miracles within this kid. - LeftCoaster
well a quick glance at the stats will show you that he generally fights and takes more penalties....so maybe the injury played a part |

Your father should have spanked you more as a kid ....you must be a millennial - Redmile247
I'm in the age range. BUT:
Millennials have been characterized in a number of different ways. On the negative side, they've been described as lazy, narcissistic and prone to jump from job to job.
discusses how many young people have been rewarded for minimal accomplishments (such as mere participation) in competitive sports, and have unrealistic expectations of working life.
Millennials "want flexible work schedules, more 'me time' on the job, and nearly nonstop feedback and career advice from managers."
A 2012 study found Millennials to be "more civically and politically disengaged, more focused on materialistic values, and less concerned about helping the larger community.
Not lazy, same job for 11 years with no plans of switching anytime soon. I've worked 200 hours of overtime so far this year. Hope to get to 300 at least.
I don't need a more flexible schedule.
WTF is "me time".
I know my job and I go do it. Don't need someone telling me how good i'm doing (my daughter on the other hand.... FML it's terrible)
I am not very political.
I am very far from materialistic.
I volunteer for as much as I can.
The entire reason for all of this is to show you only a true millennial would have become a Flames fan. |

Do you need to waste 5 million dollars on a guy who doesn't really transition the puck to the forwards well, doesn't play defense with top four skill, doesn't contribute offensively, but he can fight ok? |

Pretty sure a true millennial would just cheer for a team who won a cup recently ... easier to do that than stick with their own team lol

I love it when Don says things like "obvious even for a fan new to the sport" and then goes on to be wrong. Oh so wrong.
The "you don't understand hockey like I do" argument is one of the weakest on HB but that doesn't stop some people from using it. - bloatedmosquito

So Sven and your 4th overall for our 1st ?
Sounds about right - Redmile247
Im surprised you feel the flames will have the 1ov pick this year, although with their forward depth I can kinda see your point.
Its a trade,
4ov and Sven to Calgary
1ov to Vancouver |

well I am not too stressed about it. Either he plays well and earns an extension or he we trade him at the deadline for picks? win win? There is no way we will lose him for nothing. |

You're terrible at this.
Last season you proudly stated that the 2016/17 canucks were far better than the previous season's version. And you proudly stated that anyone who couldn't see that doesn't understand hockey.
I think you even added one of these for effect
And then you were proven wrong and you came up with the lame ass excuse of injuries.
I called Booner out for the very same behaviour. Your attitude that you are some hockey genius is (frank)ing ridiculous and you have been proved more wrong than right most times.
I can't wait to rub your opinion about Virt in your smug, know-it-all face when he once again proves you don't know poop about anything. |

Still pisses me off that he was mishandled by both clubs. He should've spent two more years in junior and then probably a year in the AHL and you'd see a totally different kid. He's certainly talented. - LeftCoaster
Hes a bigger bust then virtanan.
Bust and a 2nd for a top 5 picked defensemen, I'll take it! π |

If he gets more next year then it means he's played better then last year... right?
