Well, we got a first and 2 2nds for a dman who had a bunch of injuries and a -21 last year. Don't be surprised if we can replicate that to some degree with him. Just saying.

Apples and oranges.... The D-man had several very affordable years left on his contract, and had a history of being an effective Top 4, minutes eating d-man, but happened to be coming off his worst year. The forward, while coming off his best year, has a long history of being one-dimensional in that he's a good passer.......and brings nothing else. Plus, he will have at most one season left on his contract.
