Not that it is actually comparable but in video games... I ALWAYS put Girgensons next to ROR and Okposo. It is a very good group for forechecking and garbage goals. I put Kane - Jack - Sam as my 2nd line and it is just my speed and one timer line. So fun.

Yea, but it could be like when Seattle won their division with a losing record at 7-9.

The NFL has been awful this year so far. A lot of bad bad football.

Depends on where Girgs is to be honest. If he manages to stay with ROR and Okposo through camp, then Larsson slots in as the #3 probably.

Guess it depends on what they do with Sam as well though.

But this is the 3rd camp he's been in now where the rumor over the offseason (and the whole season before for the most part) has been that he's going to be moved.

They should be glad he even showed up to camp at this point.

I'd think this will kill his trade value as well, Sakic gambled and lost on this one imo, waited too long for the perfect deal, which at this point, I doubt he gets.

Im thinking decent prospect, first rounder and a roster player, don't think he gets his top dman now.

He just keeps saying that he hasn't gotten any fair market offers. Clearly the market value for him isn't what Sakic thought it would be. Time to just pick the best one offered at this point and move on.

Grigorenko was a bust we all knew that
Zadarov was tough but he was showing maturity issues
Compher hurt he would look great centering the 3rd line right now

But we got the best player out of the deal in ROR and was able to get something decent for McGinn
