I really think people here have JV's realistic upside confused with what they think is his floor, not many guys with his lack of development since being drafted end up become even good 3rd liners. I'd say at best that's what he's going to become now. At worst, he's out of the league and in the AHL or bouncing around to a few different organizations as a reclamation project.

I absolutely agree regarding Subban. I don't think he will ever defend at an NHL but he certainly has potential up front. I got roasted earlier for saying something similar re. Virt lol.

I agree on the not making him a winger bit. We need an offensive minded dman much more than another tweener forward regardless how much of a long shot Subban is.

Subban is on track or ahead of where most guys picked in the 4th, he will likely get a shot or two in the bigs this year.
