Housley just stopped practice and lit into them hard for not attacking hard enough and not having enough speed. He wasn't happy.


Also Malone and Nylander are week to week...not good for those thinking Nylander would make the team out of camp

Every single GM knows Sakic is in a no win situation now. McCabe and a 2nd for Duchene is all I would offer and see how long Sakic holds out.

1. Mile High is hot garbage now since they changed Editor to that Tom Hunter guy and hes a leaf fans who writes troll articles. He doesnt know the Avs, fights with the fan base who comments with the site, and gernally doesnt care about factual reporting with them, he loves himself and his opinion (Hes basically James Tanner)

2. Duchene was the away game A. He never wore it at home, which was shots in the Home game sweaters. They started with one month Mack was Home, then Dutch was Home A...but the end the season it was all mack at home with the A

To be fair I still really like McGinn. $3.3M for 2 more years. He was bad on, in Tanner's world the worst team to lace'em up? You don't say? The Coyotes were beyond awful last year and made so many questionable lineup decisions it's a wonder anybody had a good year, wait... no one did. The one rock solid stud they have in OEL sucked last year too. Suck may be stretching it, but it was a bad year for him. McGinn went 20, only played 47 games, but had 11 goals, 19, 22 goals. Is he going to light the world on fire? No. Is he a good 3rd liner that can play 1st and 2nd line spot duty? Yes. He was scoring 20 goals with 14 minutes of ice time. He went for the money, and it bit him on the ass.

I genuinely want to know what the (frank) they are doing. Duchene should've been moved at the draft. They have way too much talent to be tank-era Sabres bad.

Edit: I see pics where he's wearing the A at home and also pics where he's not wearing the A on the road, so it doesn't seem like it's a 50/50 split. Every other game maybe?

From teh sounds of it they have been getting low balled hard, teams trying to say hes a 40 point Center and offering up nothing the Avs want. If he really was a 40 point center a team would be trying to trade for him for the past 8 months.

They wont be bullied into a bad deal, and have no issues holding onto a guy thats still important to the team. Just bc Duchene had his feelings hurt, hes not going to throw a deal together to make it easier on him

Beauchemin was a full time A last year, Mack/Dutch split it home and away this switched home and away the next month.

But its a stupid non story. He didnt wear an A in a headshot jumbo tron video even though they still have him listed as an A on the website. like I said, That tom hunter guy is junk.

I wonder if that could be a trade for moulson. McGinn for Moulson and and a 3rd? Idk how serious the Coyotes are about winning now, but Moulson, Pronger and datsyuk together sounds pretty dangerous

Because so many teams play retirement games with over the hill players now, I wonder if Moulson, at the end of the year, could come down with incurable plantar fasciitis, or simply retire and then get a job at the academy of hockey. Couldn't the Pegulas give him a 5 year contract with some bogus title like "player liason" for 2 mil a year so he could recoup his lost earnings?

he is a bell cow running back, meaning they are going to run the sh!t out of him

he can catch passes


don't waste my time or your time by offering me the second or 3rd best wr on a team (adams, crabtree)

if I am selling, I am selling high so you need to offer me someone like cooks, michael thomas, etc


hell right now i should be asking for mike evans or obj honestly

The whole thing has been handled piss poorly from the start. They (frank)ed up with ROR and dealt him away for an immature, but promising defenseman just because they didn't want to pay him. And you have the whole offer sheet fiasco before that. Sakic is in way over his head. The Avs had 6 less points last year than the Sabres did when they tanked for McDavid. 6! With players like Duchene, Landeskog, MacKinnon, Barrie, Rantanen and Johnson. Something is rotten in the state of Denmark.

One of the guys in my league has been offering another one trash for Lynch. He's offered the other guy like 4 different options and they were all awful. I don't know what people are thinking sometimes.

He quit on the team in January. He admitted to that. No Avs fan is really going to be side with Duchene bc the trade rumours and losing season got to him especially when others said they were still trying to turn things around.

Dutch flat out quit, now he is really pulling a baby act like a scolded puppy.Yeah it sucks that your GM and childhood idol has made you available for trade but that comes with the territory, either you are part of the Avs solution or they will try to find guys who area.
