One of the guys in my league has been offering another one trash for Lynch. He's offered the other guy like 4 different options and they were all awful. I don't know what people are thinking sometimes.

in my money leagues, I always tell people, don't bother offering me any trades til week 9

that's when I package 3 or 4 players for an impact player for the playoffs


last year I traded spencer ware, cam meridith, t coleman and e sanders for doug baldwin


he was 6th in the league fighting for a playoff spot, I was first overall

all of those guys were on my bench, was never going to play them


he made the playoffs, I won the league with that trade

they offered him multiple deals and he always turned it down. When he signed the 2 year 12m contract. THey went 6.5mx6...wanted no part of it. before beign traded they offed him 7x7 and he wanted 8x8.

He wanted the Avs to over pay and they wouldnt. The offersheet wasnt Sakic, that was Sherman, and he wanted a 7 year 5.5m deal coming off his ELC, the same deal as Landeskog, when Duchene out scored and out preformed him taking a bridge deal.

ROR is a hell of aplayer but hes all about himself and takes things very personally. When he didnt get his money off the ELC and being named captain, he was done with that org.

No he hasnt. They only made him available last year midseason. He wasnt not being shopped or on the block before. Just bc rumour websites mention him during the Roy days doesnt mean Sakic was shopping him

What's the alternative, let him play out his contract? That's not a viable approach at all imo. If sakic can get 2/3s his original asking price at this point, he should do it

Here's the thing, the market is what it is. Yes, there's a chance the value could go up at some point if you hang onto your "currency" in hopes that happens, but it could take quite awhile before that happens. And there's always a better chance that the value could continue to decrease more before it possibly rebounds.

I think that's about where you're at right now. Better hope he decides he wants to actually try and be a team player and not mope or you're gonna be in for a world of hurt either way.

locker room cancer is very harsh, hes a distraction and the cloud of dumb media questions will follow the team.

They need to resolve it fast but they arent giving him away. I would rather take a dark cloud and a pissed off duchene instead of a bad trade
