Tyrod Taylor is not.

Of the post Drury/Briere Sabres, Derek Roy was the least of our problems.

Maybe it was that head-case of a (frank)ing goalie we had who couldn't hack it in the playoffs or lock down his own shut-outs by not letting in that high glove buzzer beater.

A few random thoughts from watching the game:

ROR Okposo and Girgs were a puck possession machine. ROR snapped one off the post on a great feed from girgs

Pu skates faster than his hands work

Pouliot looks pretty good. Fast and big, could be perfect for Reinhart but they need a finisher

Moses isn't that guy. He's fast, but he tends to lose track of the puck.

Erod will make this team. Drew 2 penalties, good hands, fast

Guhle looked good, but not good enough to push someone off the roster.

Bailey was a non factor.

The arena music is still terrible. Their "hype song" to lead the Sabres on the ice for the second was come together by aerosmith

Couple things on the D:

The fact that two defensemen led a rush from their own zone and scored was awesome. Snipe from mccabe.

Risto had a brain fart on the PP that led to a goal

Risto was active in the o zone all night.

McCabe circled in the low slot but no one saw him or passed to him.

Fedun is a REALLY nice depth guy to have. He led the rush on McCabes goal. He was also a little sloppy in his own zone at times though. Still, if there are a ton of injuries, it's nice to know he's there

He was pretty solid, but he took a couple big hits. He was the trailer on a 3 on 2 with Pu carrying but it went nowhere. Nothing too remarkable
