I am expecting trades at TDL (those without NMC) . I am expecting waiver pick ups and most of all next summer I am hoping they let the twins walk and we get a younger 27 yer old in Free Agency for the top 6
- VANTEL

TDL deals happened last year as well as picking up kids like Boucher off waivers, hopefully that continues.

That moment when you realize that your 'rebuilding' team has less quality d prospects than the playoff team in your division

To me the top2 are clear, in Dahlin and Svechnikov. After that I think it gets dicey. I like Tkachuck, just looks mean, and I like Veleno who looks like he may be elite. I really think the top5 of this draft are as strong as weve seen in a while. But we will see how this year plays out, we all know how guys play will change our opinions.
- neem55

I have it as Tkacuk & Boqvist as a toss up at this early stage. Guess it might come down to BPA/need in one go of it.

Idk other than JB covets a top RHD but if Tkachuk keeps standing out then who knows. It looks good at the 3 spot.

Kapanen will be traded long before they put him on waivers.

Burmistrov was on waivers last year. He looks better than some of our current players.
- VANTEL

So was Reid Boucher, 17 times.

If people are looking for hope on the waiver wire than they are pretty desperate. This season is going to suck. Bad.

Sweet, I think that's how it works too. There could be some nice drops after camps close, Kapanen is a good example. I think kirby rychel is more likely to be exposed.

edit: If LVK dont make a move, they will be forced to expose a few dmen that are much better than our bottom pair.

This team is a roster full of scrubs. It is possible there is a better scrub than our currents scrubs that will be put on waiver. I mean cmon what does the worst team in the league have to lose by taking a chance on a young player that is struggling.

And for the record Boucher is an upgrade on Megna and Chaput

The kicker i believe is we have 50 contracts & scoop a player on waivers we gotta expose someone to waivers. We lose some trash or send him to Utica. I like it 👍

all we have to go on from is the comments on the first few practices, and the post preseason game comments. Obviously its pre-mature, but you have to like what you hear.

It appears on all accounts TG is just that being that players r accountable as he was when drafted. He changed as needed to make it as s pro & with vets in the room they too should be in his corner.

I agree about up grading plugs but it's the fan base excitement over a waiver pick up that makes me laugh.
