Something to ponder...
While we draft & develop for future top 6 F's & top 4 D why not focus on the 3/4th lines & as we r currently doing?
Burmy is a good upgrade on the 4th.
Gagner & Vanek for depth offence &/or 3rd liners.
JV is making a strong case as a mid 6 winger. - Nighthawk
I don't ponder anymore |

JB has added to what DD does when we sorely lack his toughness.
TG says 4 lines should be able to play not just 4th line minute fillers.
Burmy & other UFA's r better than AHLers on the 4th.
A liability is a useless 4C. Makes a line utterly a waste of time. - Nighthawk
1) If you want 4 lines producing, you take the plug that keeps coughing up the puck off the ice
2) Dorsett doesn't play center, so that point has no relevance. He's a winger, we have much more well-rounder young wingers. For example, JV the way he has played so far would be a waaaaaaay better choice.
3)Burmy and other UFA's are better than who? That comment again makes no sense. Dorsett is an AHLer,I'd be surprised if anyone claimed him on waivers. |

Can't include sbisa as a loose without acknowledging that we kept Guance because of him. That's a huge win in my books.
Also we got a pick 6 back from the 2nd we gave up in the Sutter trade.
I don't think outs that bad for a player that gave us one destination. |

Makes total relevance when a useless C on the 4th line.
An AHL center is a plug that drags down the line.
Burmy is an upgrade easily.
Megma & Chaput AHLers.
Yes draft 1st rounders to replace Dorsett. Senseless |

Sorry to hear about your back. I feel your pain.
It's humbling and frustrating being laid out like that but make the best off it. My initial problems started with the L4-L5 & L5-S1.
The main thing is to avoid opiates for pain killers. If you are a friend of the woodpile, visit it frequently.
Good luck and I'm glad to hear you have family around and knowing that community, they would have a lamb roast to aid you if necessary. |

It's not really though, JV could easily play a 4th line role provide hits/physicality and isn't a donkey with the puck like Dorsett. You can put Lemieux with a Donkey, but the Donkey still is a liability. Doesn't matter when a guy was drafted, they play the part tin the lineup best suited to them. right now JV doesnt deserve top6 minutes IMO, is playing his way onto the team though |

You're right, Dorsett should be on a line with Virtanen to mentor him. |

Check out Holm's corsi
So much for stat nerds.
Watch the game instead - Nighthawk
my idiot buddy texted me and said Holm is great and Juolevi was awful and quoted their corsi.....it infuriates me when people comment on the game based on stats and don't actually watch. |

Ottawa top line looks fast this year. Not playing against tough competition mind you. Has anyone else noticed PP lasting the entire 2 mins when if a goal scored, or am i just seeing multiple penalties? I thought i noticed it last night as well. Canucks scored and were still on a PP that had less than a min left. Didn't notice a 5-3 for it either. |

A 9-4 meaningless ex-game loss is all
Tell your bud to pay for tickets & educate u or close his piehole 😂
Ask him if Holm fetches more in a trade while he is hot? |

Again here we are with this franking league franking with the rules again, the only pro league that has different rules for pre season reg season and playoffs and different sets of rules for certain teams, everytime we lay a nice hit the book gets thrown at them and we take a cheap one and nothing. No wonder this league will never grow its confusing to newbies wanting to learn. |

I'm laid up. Opiates let me sleep for more then 2 hrs. Other then that I'm avoiding them. Don't want to get hooked. The woodpile is keeping me going for sure. Got a brand new Arizer air 2 vaporizer they dai before i smashed myself, lots of batteries from my old air one, it's keeping the pain at bay, love the cbd's. |

You guys realize any educated person knows that Corsi is meaningless when the sample size is 1 game right?
Also, anyone looking at just Corsi is stuck in 2012. The zone entry stats and scoring chances for/against for dmen are way better than Corsi |

Anyone who uses just one stat to make an arguenent on how good a player is in need of help lol
Each stat has value ...sometimes stats can tell you a lot about a players game, but sometimes they are just stats and don't mean squat |

Some Indica edibles will help with pain & sleep. I can attest to that. I'm sure they may not be easy to attain there but if you have someone going to Victoria, get them to go to a dispensary.
Feeling for you, man. |
