this is not the time to trade JT Miller, IMO

his 2.75 mil cap hit is gold, he could very well score 30 goals this year

they have to take advantage of that and not trade that away

then he is a very strong candidate to be traded after season when he seeks big bucks

the debate is whether or not Miller will be a better center than Hayes, and that I am not too sure of

but, as far as overall players, I don't think it's that close
