I don't have a problem with it persay, but it feels like the new guy got hired, read the rule book and said "we've never enforced this rule, so let's do it" just to be the new sheriff in town. Calling interference would make me way happier. Kind of like when players weren't allowed to tuck jerseys in anymore because... well I don't know why. Or when players couldn't have tinted visors anymore because... something

That's the funny part of it. The twitter replies were pretty hilarious. I especially liked this one, which basically sums up what you just said:

I'm curious to see Eichel and Kane together again...but I don't think there's enough puck to go around. Kane tends to shoot first and ask questions later...Jack wants to slow things down in the o-zone. Him and ERod have a history...why not see how it translates to the NHL.

Still can't believe Ennis + Foligno = Scandella + Pommer...

If we could only figure out landing spots for Bogo and Moulson we'd be great and based on the Ennis trade I'm optimistic. Still think Bogo could bounce back slightly under Housley though...probably just the Kool Aid talking.

He probably will, but slightly would be my guess.

It all depends on what we think he is/can be.

He will absolutely never be a top 2 guy, depsite his cap hit and draft status. But he probably can be a competent 4/5 for the 65 games he plays.

i would say they're all likely to get a bump from a style change and better team up front.

it still wont justify keeping him around though. Just doesnt play enough games nor is he particularly good at either end that would make you think hes worth keeping around despite his cap hit.
