I don't have a problem with people who tailgate. I liked to tailgate when I went to games. But I don't see why you have to be drunk to the point you're throwing up on other fans during the game (or any event for that matter).
What's the point? I honestly don't understand why people do this. Can someone please explain it to me? - HonkFortheGoose
There seems to be a correlation between number of drinks at once and how much life sucks. Thats my best guess.
Or as Dr. House once put it: "really? that's why you do drugs? because you're so happy?"

Those douches are usually too drunk before the game starts.
The last Bills game I went to (1999) was the last game I'll ever go to.
I pretty much hated everyone that went to a Bills game during and after that.

Perhaps.
I think I have trust issues, so I never let myself get really poopty. As soon as walking requires even a bit of thought compared to normal, I stop drinking. I don't like feeling out of control of my own body.
I enjoy having a beer or two or some wine. I just don't see how getting annihilated every weekend or whatever is fun.

I don't understand why they even get let into the game in the first place.

escape from reality can be a lot of fun when your reality is trash

My best friend was like that before we went in.
He was also hiding bottles of beer in his jacket on the way in but
I can't remember if he actually got through security with the bottles. He was so (frank)ed up that he was yelling at the Jets fans about how much Richard their QB sucks on a daily basis...
The Jets fans were surrounded by drunken dildo Bills fans so they pretty much took it like a prostitute and waited for my friend to get the boot.
He didn't get the boot.
Another kid I went to school with tried starting a fight before the game started. He wasn't even drunk, just a tough ass. I hate those people with a passion.

The things I lost, I left behind, I threw away ...
Always with me where I go, sweet company - or is it misery...
There's so many ways to go and lay your burden down.
So many hours from now til the dawn.

You don't get to tell me who I would or wouldn't have drafted. I absolutely would've given up 6 games to get 26 with Zeke and passed on Julio. I wouldn't even had entertained taking Julio there. So what if I take a relatively small risk(Zeke's suspension was very much up in the air with the co-author that said no suspension being locked out of the meetings with Goodell, and his appeal. Julio could've been on the bench both games and I'd actually be 2-0 instead of 1-1) and don't do well this year if I have a stacked team next? And if McCaffery is who we think he is he could be a 200+ carry 1,000+ yard 10+ TD and then add Darren Sproles in his prime with receptions. That's 1st or 2nd overall right there. Just because you wouldn't do something doesn't make it impossible.
You have time to post here, you have time to post there.
For next year don't forget. No one will be kept this year. And you have about 31 hours to put the post up, or you win by default because my roster will be empty, and I'm pretty sure the others won't like that very much. Or you'll have to choose my roster and if you win, others won't like that very much. So you're basically lose-lose.
“The ref told me they changed some rules and to keep it down,” Komarov explained. “I don’t see through it. That’s the reason I’m wearing it up there.
“So it’s not like I’m being cocky or anything. It’s how I play forever. So I took it off, but I don’t feel safe without it, so we’ll see what’s going to happen.”

Peace of mind mainly. It probably feels really weird with it off.

2 weeks ago, I was called crazy for suggesting Pommer may get the nod for the second line
Now he may get top line duties
good for him - homiedclown
I don't think he'll get 20 minutes a night though. He'll be there 14-15 minutes total(with PP time), and with a minute or 2 on the PK away from them with ROR perhaps, and they'll rotate someone in for the rest for D-zone draws. Things like that. I don't think he can handle 20 minutes on the 1st line anymore. At least not for a full season.
Reading that some of you will never tailgate, go to a NFL game, blah blah blah...
Stop being cheap and buy better seats if you're so above the swill. There are plenty of families and decent people down in the lower bowl. Pay to park closer to the stadium, and get there earlier to check out the field house. Everyone thinks they're so much smarter and better than the drunk arsehole.
I have a question for the group. I'm a Sabres fan in Denver (thus the username) and I am trying to decide how I should watch the Sabres this year. For the past several years, I have purchased the NHL Center Ice package through DirecTV. I have been happy with the games all being in HD, but overall DIRECTV is just too expensive. A few years back I subscribed to the online streaming NHL package, but was a bit disappointed in the quality (would freeze up several times per period and video quality would drop at times to make me think I was watching a game from 1979). So I have several questions:
1. Do any of you use the online streaming NHL.tv and if so how is the quality?
2. Any Dish Network users with NHL center ice package? Are the Sabres' games in HD? It says in the fine print that only select games are in HD.
3. Does Comcast really only have 2 NHL center ice channels in HD and thus only 2 games in HD each night? Seems ridiculous since NHL and CBS (thus Comcast) are in bed together.
I know there are "illegal/free" was to stream games out there, but I would rather not risk my computer to all the potential criminal activity/SPAM that is often lurking in these types of free streaming services.
Thanks for any input people have.

That's not always an option. There may not be those seats available. Also, why should someone have to shell out a poop ton of money just to go to a game so they don't have to be worried about being puked on or whatever?
Why should we have to pay extra because other people don't know how to behave like adults out in public?
I get what you're saying to a point, but perhaps some people saying they won't go anymore can't afford to buy a much more expensive seat?
