He has no clue or disregards the serious nature of concussions.
If he ignores those who died or suffered in horrendous ways with shortened or quality of life post career he is awfully dumb. Putting money & his career ahead of everything & everyone is not only selfish when he has earned a very good lifestyle already. Sitting on the LTIR he still gets payed. All that said he knows nada IMO. Says a lot about his intelligence.

With all the talk of Canadian teams getting in on Duchene ... does anyone think Tanev, Virtanen and a 2nd get it done ... or would it have to be a 1st?
Hate to give up one of our highest draft picks but Virtanen is classic case hometown selection goes awry. I think he still has a potential career, I don't think it's here. Too much history for a kid so young. Tanev is buy low, sell high. Whatever pick Colorado gets from Van, it's sure to be a high one.

I (personally) don't think Duchene has that kind of value, especially not any more. I would trade Tanev for the rebuild, but he has more value to us with what he brings.

I think his value has plummeted too but I also think playing in Colorado has been toxic ...if he is traded before the season starts I wouldn't be surprised if he is top 10 in scoring ...he is very skilled
