Sounds like this kid has passed some of the guys in Rochester on the depth chart... Housley sure has a lot of good things to say about him since the prospect tournament started

I hate to be cynical, but I see Griffith as another Luke Adam tweener. I'd way rather Baptiste or Bailey get a shot with the Sabres. If they can't hack it, move on. This is Carrier part deux

There is stuff though.
Go to canalside and go kayaking/paddle boarding or on one of the boat cruises.
Go to an escape room
Ice Skating in the winter
Plenty of festivals and stuff (and not just during the summer).
Go see a show at Shea's or one of the many other theaters.
There's college hockey at the Harbor Center.
And that's just some of what there is to do "downtown". Doesn't even include anything in the suburbs or Niagara Falls or just across the border.
The problem is he makes these sweeping generalized statements and he has no idea what he's talking about. Then when you call him out on it he gets all sarcastic and whiny. - HonkFortheGoose
All of this is good. Buffalo has finally installed many "attractions" that most major cities had about 20 years ago. And it's absolutely necessarily and commendable that they did so. Now, it needs to find an attraction that other cities don't have...and a way to become one of those cities you can fly non-stop to and from just about anywhere.

Will never happen. Just the way the airlines are set up. There are hubs close enough.

Oh believe me, I'm aware, but if you figure out a way to lure a Fortune 500 company here, that can change. Part of it is about demand. The fact that Frontier Airlines is coming here is proof of that.
Compare them to other slightly larger cities, even cities where the airlines have dumped their hub agreements (Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Cincinnati, etc.), they still have at least twice as many nonstop destinations as Buffalo does.

I think he's gonna surprise some people this year. He'll still have some bone headed plays in his own zone but I think his point production is gonna take off
