Hawks continue to pile up SOG (36-15), SAT (57-23), and scoring chances - Korpasalo has been very good.

AdB has had a very good game, as had Schmaltz - that line has gotten to the net a couple of times.

Jurco had a really good first game when paired with higher quality players and has been fine in limited minutes so far tonight. I'd like to see him and/or Fortin get some time with Schmaltz-Kane just to see how they'd fair.

IMO I think you can see how ADB isn't the best skater out there and he looked tired at times, but that release when he gets the puck in a scoring area is top notch. Probably would have a goal or two tonight if he didn't shoot for the goalies crest

If you are talking about the play where CBJ scored, that was a tough one to blame him on, that puck was bouncing like crazy.

Hate to say it but top line played better with Kampf.

The league employed Chris Pronger while he was on "LTIR"...he was even traded while working for the league. The fact that he was working for them means they knew he was never going to play again, but they didn't make him retire making Philly immune to the Cap Recapture Penalties.

After the way the Pronger contract was swept under the rug, the NHL would have a serious credibility problem if they decided to not allow Hossa's LTIR for any reason.

Ogi - I have been saying the exact same thing....Once he was hired by he league, he was retired from a player. Hossa should retire, and Rocky should say "F you Gary, prove you are that stupid".

Because of the score? That line has over 70% in terms of scoring chances, up from the 52% they had with Kampf. The opposing goalie is just playing better.
