Interesting Kampf is getting 2 games in a row. Dauphin is not.

He wasn't going to get two games in a row except that Toews is now sick.

More interesting was that Dauphin has not been played at center.

He was more of a 3rd line center, and the stats show that, but when Datsyuk or Filppula was DET's 3rd line center Draper didn't have that opportunity.

That's 3 scoring lines right there. That 3rd line, hot damn! We'll see if ADB lives up to his gamer status tonight. Golden opp for him

It would be great Sharp and Schmaltz could play with Kane, because I think Hayden, AA and Hartman would be a good third line. Tough to play against.

Fair enough. With Toews in for Kampf, this is probably close to the opening night lineup with a few potential changes I think. I think lines 1 and 3 are pretty much set. 2LW and the 4th line seem to be the most fluid right now, in my mind.

I have reservations whether Oesterle is worth keeping around in Rockford. He plays both sides, which is a bonus, but if he plays neither side well enough, he is a detriment.

To be fair I realize he might be on less preferred side should he go with Svedberg. May be Oesterle sticks it out in Rockford, but Pokke and Svedberg may be at their own crossroad.

I believe we should hope eventually Snuggerud could become as regular offensive presence on the third pair and Kempny or Ruuta strong on second pair, with the other on third pair

It's not about keeping up with 8 and 88, it's about puck possession in the O zone and that would be really interesting because he still controls the puck off the boards as well as anybody and still create scoring chances. I really don't see it happening but wouldn't be opposed to it if the price was right either. Let's see how ADB looks adapts and how Fortin returns from his surgery through the preseason.

I suggest going to https://www.reddit.com/r/NHLStreams/ and seeing if there is a blackhawks thread with a good link. Not sure about preseason but I watch basically every regular season game this way and people usually post very high quality streams.
