nice one. Though Cull is here for a reason. For most it ends tomorrow night against Oil. Curious who remains for 9/28 game against Flames. - Nuck4U
I would have to guess it would be OJ. He's JB's golden goose |

Barring injuries there is no room to have BB, JV & DD on starting line up. - Nuck4U
well DD or could be the spare forward (13th) if JB goes and carries 8 D again
or if they send burmistrov down, but I dont think they will |

Thanks Carol, solid as ever!
If it is true, Bo not being on the 2nd PP at the start of the game is a WTF moment. This guy was your leading scorer last year and he isn't on the PP? I know it's preseason but this is the time to get your PP set and working on deployment. It also is concerning that the 1st PP unit is the same as, or almost, as last year.....well, how did work out for us? And proof is a 1 for 12 today. Here's hoping that this isn't a sign of things to come.

posts with zero credibility, no structure, no evidence, no facts, just straight opinion and if you don't agree you are a piece of stool. |

I am not surprised by the edler hutton pp selection. Using only a single D on the PP you had better get someone good on the forecheck and fairly responsible as well as shooting ability. MDZ is known for shooting but coughs up the puck too much. Stetcher has had only 1 nhl season and his size might allow too much potential for forwards pushing past him.
Its kinda like using subban for PP, kid can bury it but you seriously risk a short handed rush the other way if he is alone on D. Only way to use him on pp is put him in more like a 4th forward and have a certified Dman for the D role. - SMBDragon
On giveaway with shorthanded goal against Edler was on the ice and couldn't prevent it.
You need quick puck movement and shots through from last man on PP.
Stecher and MDZ should get opportunity to show they can do that.
Both PP units didn't have any angle changes with Edler and Hutton not walking the line. Didn't open seems and Kings were able to keep most plays on the outside. |

I thought brisbois had a solid game, subban has great offensive upside use his strengths and get the forwards and get him a solid stay at home d partner to cover and let him loose. I remember rick lanz his strength was rushing the puck being offensive until the coaches changed him and he wasn't near as effective, man that peed me off. |

... and the pre-season standard on how hard a player should try is obviously Virtanen - boonerbuck
That was a big league goal he scored and the backcheck and turned it the other way was huge. Him and boeser should be on opening night. |

Boeser is the early favourite for the Calder. The eastern media controlled by the Leafs State just wont tell anyone. |

Wonder why MDZ didn't get PP time. Pretty bizarre.
Brock looks NHL-ready. Jake had another good game. Chatfield looked solid. Also liked Archibald again. |
