Not worth engaging with him. Whatever he writes is total dribble anyways so ignore him and it is much more peaceful. I won't mention any names who that annoyance is though, that will remain a secret |

Decent package, basic cable is a good call. My Shaw tech buddies tell me lots of people are upgrading their Internet services for streaming and dropping cable.
The older demographic, not so much. But there is a shift happening. - VanHockeyGuy
I just track down the Canuck games I don't get online now…Centre Ice is such a f**cking rip…when SN signed that big deal all CDN teams games should have been broadcast on any regular cable package country wide…but they just have to still gouge for Centre Ice... |
|
|
|
I thought Weircioch played decent today also aside from the third goal. Hutton has been invisible . |

Where do you live ?

If everyone was looking for free streaming then broadcasters would not be willing to show every game.
It is a product I enjoy 12 months a year so I don't have a problem paying 30 -40 dollars a month to support.
Sorry that is my opinion.
I grew up listening to hockey on the radio and the mandatory one game a week on TV . It was not fun. |

I get what your saying
But I think most people have paid way too much for hundreds of repeat channels
I understand the reasons for regional access only but there needs to be a better option than buying center ice ...essentially your paying for 31 channels when you just want one
If you live in a different province than your favourite team there needs to be an option to get your favourite team on sportsnet or tsn when you pay for 5 tsn and 6 sportsnet channels
It's all about advertising and money but they are missing out on viewers ...I know many fans who would watch more if they were given the option

That's because older people don't just sit at home all day and do nothing. I just landed in my 30s recently. A lot of my friends are the tech bunch and would rather sit at home infront of their computer then going out for drinks or going to shoot hoops, going for a bike ride, etc. Exact reason I need PVR. I am not home enough when things are on to watch them live. |

Philly put schenn in a great spot and made out like bandits for a guy they had no need for anymore
Pitt ...I dunno ...it's hard to question anything a franchise that is coming off back to back cups ...but c'mon man !!!
It's hard to judge when teams trade 4th and 5th rounders to move up in the second round ..they might just really like a guy that slipped and the risk of late rounders coming back to bite them is small

I missed the first period of the game last night. Just seeing the highlights now. Other then Holm and Sautner sucking on D terribly.
On Edmonton's first goal Jake coasting through the neutral zone while Leon was skating. Lost him and was free to go in alone.
Kailers first goal, Jake is skating to leave the zone when he thinks Sautner has the puck. Turning around at the blue line when the puck is in the net.
Not his best piece of work. For all the things he probably did good in the game, those are the type of things we have seen get kids a seat at the end of the bench. He's learning, just not there quite yet. |

My reasoning for cancelling was the crappy programming, aside from sports. |

Nilsson is horrible so far . He is a slight improvement over John Garrett.
I thought Sven Dorsett Granlund and Burmistrov played very good , the rest of the forwards OUCH.
I think JV BB and Archie have played well enough and would make this team much more exciting and add Chattfield too.
Tanev has a muffin shot and the next thng he looks like Shea Weber shooting the puck. Nice goal.
I thought Gudbrandson had a very nice game aside from the third goal give away - VANTEL
Nilsson is a big body and thats it. From I what I see his positioning is off because he counts on his big body too much. He isn't as agile as I hoped. His worst attribute to me is he seems to have trouble tracking the puck. I think he isn't seeing the ice and anticipating the play. Vision is a problem. |

It's only 300 bucks, that's less than one live game for the Canucks. I don't mind paying it. |
