How many people were calling Jake a bust as of 3 weeks ago? - belcherbd
Idk. Give me the numbers.
I wasn't in on the fickle nonsense of those numskulls. I'm on record as JV will be just fine. Ehlers or Nylander look better but not gonna cry about it. I have patience.
How can the Canucks not want this kid? We talk about hockey iq.........Dude has next level knowledge.....after watching this, I understand why his hockey hasn't caught up.....he's been through a lot......he'll figure it out.
He was considered a safe pick too. Goes to show that there is no such thing as a safe pick outside of the McJesus/Matthews/Eichel/Laine type of talents.

I know you were't... which is why I'm surprised that you cannot seem to see that Jake is at a pretty similar place as Lazar was last year.
Yes, (frank) the safe picks from now on - CanuckDon
If they aren't labeled generational players, which very few are, then NEVER go with the "safe" pick. This franchise doesn't need predictable. We need upside/potential. To me, Petterson is literally this
Wtf there u go again mind reading.
Wrongo buffalo breath.
He's a bust 1st rounder who has done nothing to say otherwise.
Sens gave up on Dahlen?
Go to sleep i'm done with u like everyone else with your strange idk what. - Nighthawk
It was a question and a what if ponder like when you spit ball. But you seem to take it personal which is a wonder.
On Dahlen the giving up was the Sens didn't see him in their future plans by trading out for vet Burr. So just connecting two teams of Lazar's, Sens & Calgary that didn't see young players in their future but found value on Canucks like Sven and Granlund. So maybe that wheel has another turn in Lazar coming from where he has is all.

Bro i don't live in the past.
Lazar's stock is zilch & not looking like a hope in hell of making the Flames. JV on the other hand is looking great & prolly sent to Utica regardless. At least he is making his case for himself & cannot regress.
Im with you in the minority, I like his game, but man he needs to pop in at least 5 goals or something. - Nucker101
He was injured
I was looking forward to seeing how he stacked up against better bottom 6 talent in preseason.
At the end of the day he needs to improve to be anything more than a 4th liner but I watched a lot of Comets games the past few seasons and he quietly become more an more effective. I wouldn't be surprised if he did the same in the NHL, assuming he continues to play.

Lol the impossible scenario. Maybe your personal dislike of Lazar is that you think he's lazy or a head case.
But The Sens gave up on Dahlen. The Flames on Sven and Granlund. So maybe reclamation Lazar has potential that works for Canucks. Just wondering the what if where he would fit. I'll count you out on that. - Nuck4U
A question? Show me where?
I see none but what i do see is the ramblings of someone putting words in my mouth. How about shut up & eat your own words. Aka BUZZ OFF

Oh he will play. You know he will play . Even if he plays on one leg , you know he will play.
