That wasn't on him, they had 2 guys behind the defense because Antipin blew it. - Wetbandit1
You missed the Sekeralike give away Antipin had in your breakdown above. If you want to get technical about who's fault the first goal was, that was what started it all.

Oh, I didn't miss it, as a matter of fact I said it twice in earlier posts.
The first comment on the second page and 5 before your post about Lehner.
It was a bad play with a worse reaction, but I think the reaction is a game speed thing. He should get better at getting back faster.

Every single player from both teams including the coach did not stand for the national anthem
Wow nice Trump lol - GERBE!!!75PTS
While I voted for him, and I don't like the platform some players have elected to use for their protest; Trump is very devisive and his comments will backfire by serving as a lighting bolt to unite the league like never before.

Should we now have one eye open is disbelief at the Sabres performance last night?
They were thoroughly outplayed in the first, and the Offense has been, well offensive.
I know it is preseason and half the players on the ice won't be in the regular season lineup, but man...where were Eichel, Reinhart, Okposo, Pommer, etc.?
I'll postpone any conclusion until mid/end of December, but I would have anticipated more production from these guys against their arch rival, especially at home after having lost the night before.

He's a national embarrassment.
Regardless of if anyone agrees with the kneeling or fist raising or sit downs, it's anyone's right to protest and a performance of the National Anthem is a perfect place to do it.
I did it repeatedly in High School after 9/11 and got numerous detentions, in school suspensions and suspensions for it. But I truly believed we entered an unjust war and that was my medium of expression, and everyone knew what my thoughts on that war were because of it.
And before I'm called a libtard, I think the best President in my lifetime was little George Bush. So, there's that.

Wait, I'm confused, 43 was the best president in your life time, despite being the president that entered the war you believe was unjust?

I know, it sounds crazy. It goes much deeper than what's on the surface.

We iced one of the top 3 lines.
So we iced some guys who actually cared and were trying vs. most of your guys with nothing to play for except tuning up for the regular season - Aetherial
Is it really a "slap in the face"/middle finger or just the mere fact that most of the people they hire to normally do the NHL production will need to be in South Korea for an event that they paid two arms and legs for?

I do respect your right to protest and to use most available platforms to do so.
I also detest the use of this platform to demonstrate the point. I believe there are certain sacred symbols of America that should not be desecrated no matter the issue,
period. Too many people gave the ultimate sacrifice for what America stands for, and while those who protest claim they are not intending for their actions to jump on those who gave graves, it is in fact exactly what they are doing. No one will ever convince me otherwise.
Go protest in front of city hall, in front of police headquarters, in front of the Capital, etc. rather than continue to be aggressively defiant and piss on everyone's shoes.
