Don said the locker room didn't like him lol.
Looks like his issue was with WD/Lidster. - Nucker101
it was reported that he had issues with Lidster.
Carol has said in her blog quite some time back that tree was very liked by everyone on the roster. |

Nikita tryamkin slams vancouver. Says the city stinks like weed everywhere.
i can maybe see myself coming back, but not in the next 3 years. - Codes1087
So it was Marwood Steaming_Lombardi and the Sedins that drove him out not Willie |

That was what Tree said back in June Russian article about why he left. Nothing about family reasons which was JB's reply to local media. Don said the video coach who left was his source about locker room. Not questioning any of it.
But will take it all with a grain of salt. But sounds like there is more to this story then the tidbits we've gotten. Anyway things change after decisions are made and we haven't heard the last of the Tree connection to Canucks. |

great talent but sounds like a head case, Vancouver is one if not the best place on earth to live. - Bettmanhatesus
its been listed as #4 best city to live in
its also #4 most expensive city...I'd have to say London and Moscow would be far ahead of Van in that way.
However its also been said to be #2 city for worst traffic congestion but thats a total load. LA and NYC for be far far ahead of van and Hong kong has had traffic jams that lasted 13 days. Whoever made that list was having an episode

I would have to disagree there. Just watch theo fleury in his documentary on how he spent all his cash. The road to nowhere is throwing cash at girls.
So essentially youre right, the other method is cheaper - SMBDragon
Theo had bigger issues under or not in his control.
Women might only have added to that at worst.

Sedins ran the locker room under WD, just like with AV. If he admired them then I'm pretty sceptical about him being hated by the team. He was pretty candid in this interview and mentioned nothing negative about his teammates.
Seems to me like the issue was his ice time/role under WD/Lidster.

absolutely. drugs, booze, gambling, strippers, escorts
I remember he said in chicago when played for the hawks (his last nhl team....and short term) He went to a ritzy hotel, did coke, drank, gambled and hired escorts. He spent 1.3M in 3 days.

He probably blames Canucks management as well.
*puts on thinfoil hat*
Theory of the day: His Russian buddies back home probably already put it in his head that Russians aren't treated fairly here. He came in paranoid about that already and WD/Lidster playing him as the #6 dman on most nights and scratching him to start the season when he was out of shape probably confirmed his suspicions.

That sounds logical. The only source I heard about lockeroom issue was on this thread. Not putting any doubt there just that's all I know about it.
I hope Tree takes advantage of more ice time role on KHL team to develop handling the puck better and with pace. That will add more value now then thumping guy's for whatever use trade/sign Canucks find. |
