Oh plus the following tidbits that were expressed by others today. Feelings are hurt over Tree. The Canucks should asset manage and keep the waiver exempt rookies in AHL. Sedin issues etc. Plus, Canucks will suck but there are some prospects to follow.

Expect no less then a creative reply whether direct or indirect that will be worthy of a hefty goat ram.

Man, if the Canucks were anywhere near a contender for a wild card spot I'd be so choked at this preseason. A new coach with most of the vets in China while the guys actually battling for a roster spot are back in Vancouver.

The China trip kinda threw a wrench into the whole pre-season concept. I'm not sure when they play again but they'll have to cut down the roster pretty quickly here.

Yes the culling of the bubble hopefuls is coming soon. Technically they have until Oct. 3 before season starts Oct. 4th. Lots of time to practice with new roster as first regular season game not until Oct. 9 versus Oilers. Guess they will play the when to waiver game with all the extras who need it.

People havent quite figured it out yet. Hes still getting replies, still voicing his opinion on other peoples stuff, still aggravating the poop out of people

Morning boys, awful slow around Canuckland these days while the boys get back on Pacific Coast time. It's Islamic New Years this weekend, it's 1439 on their calendar, I get cake

You did know that they have until the 3rd to start culling the bubble hopefuls right? That they just need to do it before the season starts on October 4th. Not very much time to practice with the new roster, they'll be hard pressed to get time in and develop chemistry before the first game versus the oilers on October 9th.
By then they'll have had to play the waiver wire drama to get rid of all the extra skaters and get down to a 23 man roster. I don't see what's so hard about that? Do you think Jake will make it if he with or without Brock? Or is Lou s better fit? Discuss.
