More wasteful than this post? Stick a playmaker with them and you have two scoring options...I think Bae would work well with them. I'd like to st least see it tried for 10 games
Edit. Virtanen looked decent with them and Boeser is a much better playmaker imo - CanuckDon
Would it be better to go
Henrik Daniel Granlund
Eriksson Horvat Boeser
Baertschi Burmy Vanek
Dorsett Sutter Gagner? |

What's the point of this post? Are you insinuating that Horvat is more of a playmaker than Baertchi? Well I guess you don't watch the games. Horvat has a shoot first mentality where Bae is always looking to set up linemates sometimes to his detriment. Boeser isn't one dimensional, he can snipe and setup his mates - CanuckDon
Stat wise you wouldn't be able to tell. 20-32 for Bo. 18-17 for Baertschi. |

Think it be worth a shot trying Eriksson there as well...who ever is playing better should play with Horvat |

Bo creates space and shoots. Teammates collect the rebound. Bae looks to pass first. Eye test > stats |

You crapped on your best two playmakers playing with Brock and said he needs to play with a playmaker ....if you don't get the point then you cannot be helped |

Even at their end of the line the twins are much better playmakers than Sven ever will be ...but hey fill yer boots |

Ya, I was just saying for someone who doesn't watch the Canucks often would probably think by looking at the stats that Bo is the passer.
Loui would be a good vet presence on the line. Give him a boost too maybe.
Hyman is a guy who gets the puck back all the time. When you’re a good player — I’ve learned from good players — they like to have the puck. When you have three guys who want the puck… Datsyuk used to tell me all the time, “No, put him on somebody else’s line. I want somebody to get me the puck.” He gets the puck back better than anyone. So, whatever. That’s it for that.
Bo need's a Hyman.

The Sedins have regressed greatly and are a liability in their own end. The burden of covering for them defensively shouldn't fall on a rookie. I never criticized their playmaking. Try again troll |

Oh yeah, I knew what you were getting at. Red is just demonstrating that he doesn't actually watch the team. Which is fine, he is a Flames fan that pretends he is an expert on Canuck related matters |

It's weird to me why Bab's thinks that Matthews needs Hyman to get him the puck. Matthews had 76 takeaways. Hyman had 40.
Mark Stone leading the league for like forever with 96.
Baertschi was best on the Canucks at 37

what part don't you like, play another year? they would be good dev coaches and I know waiving no trade is a pipe dream but it would be good for the team. - Bettmanhatesus
After their letter were they stated that they wouldn't waive they're NMC it was determined that discussing them waiving would result in an automatic suspension....
I won't entertain your pipe dream, even if it would be nice, not cool bro, not cool. |

We almost had our elite PP QB in Subban...unfortunately Benning won't let us have nice things - CanuckDon
Holm is still getting a look. McEneny is going down though. Chapoo and MEgma still battling out for 4th line roles. |

Bo had many more assists then Sven. So while Sven might try to be a playmaker more then bo, boss man Bo has more innate playmaking ability then Sven.
Sven didn't have many assists last season although you're right, he should be more a playmaker then sniper, at least on nhl17 anyways. |

Of course Bo had more assists, he is a far better player. That doesn't mean he is more of a playmaker. Would you describe Bo as a playmaker? Is he more likely to shoot the puck or look for the pass? |

I'd discuss Bo as a powerful two way center, Kessler type... and Sven as a playmaker.
I'd like to see Brock with a better playmaker then Sven though, I would like to see him getting oz starts with the twins and playing LW with hank on the power play. Hank is still an elite passer and the best pure playmaker on the team, even if he's regressed.
LE hank Boeser could be lethal. |

Not sure what JB promised their agents as far as looks in camp when they resigned. Maybe fact TG isn't back from China to have in person say? Though lower on vet totem pole McEneny gets the waiver since Green knows him well.

It's waiver week and the culling is coming. You think they'll keep the rest around through Thursday's game? |
