Agreed. He appears to be more realistic and straight forward with his answers to the media. Unlike that bumbling idiot. Couldn't watch the game, but watched the recap. Man, Barzal can fly. That goal looked like he'd been in the league for 5 years. Calm, cool, collected and top shelfed it. I went to the Coyotes-Ducks game here in Tucson. It was good to get back to the barn and watch some hockey. The game had good flow to it. Weren't a lot of calls that interrupted that flow. - Isleshockeyman
I took it with a small grain of salt, considering the Devils dressed an AHL team of trash, but it was still awesome to see.
He's been great all preseason and I really hope it carries over to the regular season. |

Crissy's cans were the best thing about that show. |

I know they won't claim him but I wouldn't mind Jordan Nolan as an extra forward instead of Quine. Could use a little grit up front maybe against some of the bigger rugged teams. Like I said as the teams 13 or 14th forward

I don't even see the point of Quine/Prince anymore. Bernier and Gionta are probably better 13/14 forwards anyway. Waive them, trade them, do whatever you gotta do but they're dead weight. |

100% agreed. Shane Prince, hopefully is the last of those tremendous upside but not there yet guys. Snow has been bringing these guys in year after year. Now that they're clearly able to spend, there's no need for these cheap, possible pt producers. As you said, Gionta or Bernier (albeit slow) are better options. |

I didn't mind taking a stab at Prince. He didn't cost anything valuable and the upside was there for him to turn it around with the Isles. It didn't work though and now I think it's time to move on. |

Meh, six of one...
I wouldn't care either way. Both are bottom-line talent and they're the same size. Bernier is probably better offensively but Nolan is a bit more physical. |

Snow gave up a 2nd rd pick for Prince? Or was it a 3rd? |

Good. You should be able to hear for yourself once they get the podcast up on the site. I got to meet Mr. Gaines himself. Also, jmo16, formerly a regular here.
Brendan Burke was well-spoken, as you might expect. Also interesting was Puck Daddy Greg Wyshynski.
If you're into fantasy hockey, there was a guy talking about that, too. Dan and Noel were on their best behavior, and the trivia contest was surprisingly difficult.
