what's broken?

A cop tells a black man to stop
Black man fires on cop, runs and then gets gunned down

what's broken is PEOPLE not respecting each other

- homiedclown

Can we just stop bud.... I know you are strong willed and so are others...

No one has ever been convinced to change their opinion because of a Facebook ad nor a Hockeybuzz discussion. This is not going to help.

No one is wrong and no one is right. Everyone is allowed to have an opinion.

Thanks bud.

I think the bigger concern is the way too many times that this doesnt happen but the rest does...
- Sabresfan-365

lets loot a store during a hurricane

let's destroy a town because a cop killed a drug dealer

let's spend 40 years in america, sponge off them and take their money but never learn their language

etc
etc
etc

What player on the Sabres do you guys think has the biggest uptick or swing in points from last season to this one in the new system??

I think if I was a betting man... I'd put my money on Bogosian. Zemgus is hopefully my close 2nd.

You gotta understand that he was playing at like 85%if if he was playing at a hundred who knows ... That's why I'm saying this year he will hit 100 points
- GERBE!!!75PTS

Just stop. You may have gotten the finish right, but you were so far off on Jack.

And you only got the finish right because they collapsed at the end of the year, if they finished with just an average record we'd have finished around 12th somewhere in there. They were 1 point out(with a couple games in hand, sure) at one point before the break. Then they quit on Bylsma.

No bud.... I'm on HOCKEY buzz.com to talk about HOCKEY... you are flooding it with your opinion. You can do that on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram. The only one who is not being respectful here is you. So you click your little X in the top right corner.

The end.

heres a whole bunch of math that says we could get dahlin

- Sabresfan-365

IF we are that bad, he would be a good consolation prize. I'm kind of worried having seen a couple of these preseason games...doesn't look like much has changed. I'm hopeful that we will be above 90pts this year (the Kool Aid is nice try it).

I bet that's the first time ever a blogger gets a ban.

Wow.

Tanner had one taken down and so did Gunner over the weekend. So I heard. Never saw either of them.

1. "Injuries, suspensions, and all off-season moves are included." This is quite literally impossible to do before the rosters are fixed and the first game is played.

2. "The Sabres are improved but remain in the bottom of the division; many of their hopes to escape rely on a new coach whose impact is not considered by Edgar." I'm no data guy but I know Garbage In is Garbage Out.

So you may want to call this math, but I call it glorified sticking a finger in the air.

1. the roster is better than last year
2. the depth in rochester is better than last year
3. the coach can't be any worse than last year
4. the goalie can't be any worse in shoot outs than last year

If Reinhart stayed on Eichel's wing, him.

I'm gonna go Girgensons or one of Baptiste/Bailey

Good pick. He really looked like he was attacking in the game I watched. Very promising.

i was mostly kidding but i prefer this to the other convo so...

" simulated the 2017-2018 NHL seasons a hundred thousand times to estimate what is likely to happen. First, I simulated each game ten thousand times using Edgar, my predictive model for single games. Briefly, I consider shot generation, shot suppression, shooting and goaltending results, which players are more likely to take the shots that are taken, special teams, penalties drawn and taken, rest, and home ice advantage. Injuries, suspensions, and all off-season moves are included."

As for #2. You're correct but i believe its relevance to the sabres spot in the standings is grossly overstated. Even if Bylsma was truly awful and Housley is pretty good, the impact of a coaching change in the wins column is not nearly enough to use it as an excuse to dismiss these projections.

Bottom 10 imo, not bottom 6

I still count exactly 0 players capable of playing heavy defensive zone minutes on this team.

You talking forwards???

ROR, Okposo, Kane, and Zemgus (hopefully) are probably some our most physically capable defensive players. Eichel is very, very well rounded as well.

Right now I'm in both championships for baseball, so in a different state of mind! Who wants to trade?

This is not meant to bash him (I swear)

But where did he get the rep of a good defensive forward? He's not.

He takes way too many penalties to be "good" in the D zone
