I don't think House will leave it as is if the roster isn't scoring. But its preseason so he may not give a poop at this point - feetontheair22
They scored in the first two games though (6 goals). It was the 3rd and 4th that they managed 1 goal. And those top 2 lines were split up in those first two games. Girg-ROR-Okposo in the 1st game and then Kane-Eichel-Pominville in the 2nd. Maybe having both in the same game will generate more. |

I hope so. You'd think it would have to, right?
I know that the ROR line didn't score in the 1st game but they generated a lot of chances, so there's that aspect of it too.
I'm also almost disappointed that ERod is hurt right now. I was liking what he was doing in camp. |

There's not much he can do. There still isnt enough depth and high end talent. Bylsma took all kinds of heat for line juggling. - Sabresfan-365

I challenge you to actually criticize the post itself and why it may be incorrect on the topic that housley doesnt have just hella talent up front to suddenly change the top 3 lines instead of making third rate jokes.
But since you asked, seaside/western scottish. your ukrainian couldn't hold a candle. |

I think Baptiste is going to be a good. The problem though, is that he's going to need time to come up and not be so great, probably for almost a year. It's just how his career has gone. He didn't take off in Jr until his 3rd year. Struggled his first year in Rochester.
He just needs to remember to use his speed. It's what makes him effective. He needs to use that speed and drive to the net. I'm just not sure if he'll get the opportunity to figure out his NHL game. |

hes got a pretty good scoring touch. Maybe needs to learn to effectively use his speed to create space for himself. Talent is definitely there. |

I agree. Which is is why I hope they really give him a legitimate shot at some point. He's going to need time to adjust. Most people look at his first year in Rochester as a complete mess, but if you really look at how it went for him, the last 1/4 of the season or so he finally put it all together. They need to give him an opportunity to do that here at some point as well.
I'm not saying that the beginning of this year is when it has to be. But I'd like to see it happen minimally next year. |

Honestly, I think the protests boil down to this: if we all stopped assuming that millionaire athletes cared as much for (or against) the issues that we care about, people would be bothered by this a lot less. This is not even a knock on them. They're millionaires. They take part in situations most of us never will, they interact with people we never will, they will face problems we never will, and vice versa. To assume that they are as close to, and therefore care about, the issues that are mean the most to us is illogical.
I said this last year, and it eventually was the same thing when it came to 9/11 years after the fact. By November of last year, the majority of players (though definitely not all) kneeling for the national anthem were grandstanding. They couldn't even even tell you exactly what they were protesting. Hell, the media couldn't even agree on what exactly it was that Colin Kaepernick was protesting. I believe that Sunday was different, but it wasn't as much of a protest of any one particular issue so much as it was simply the members of the NFL, which has always been somewhat of a tight-knit "good old boys" club, not letting someone, especially someone as high profile as the President of the United States, talk down to them. The players, coaches, owners, management, etc. all take a great deal of pride in "The Shield", and you hear them talk about it all the time. It wasn't so much of a protest of issues as much as it was "I don't agree with what you say but I will fight for your right to say it". In this case, it was a fight for a member of their club, one which common middle class people like us are not, and never will be a part of. - buffalofan19
Yep, it was a big (frank) you. That's why the owners got involved. "We're the NFL goddamnit!! You can't tell us what to do!"

the better arguement might be that the flag was created by people who stood up and fought against those that were oppressing them.. if slavery had something to do about it they would have knelled during both antehms in europe and not just the USA.. - IndianaSabresFan

I think they will but it might not be this year. Botts likes to slow cook the prospects, could be a while but I think they want the transition to be easier for him.
Obviously no sense in sticking him with d-lo on the fourth line so maybe hes better off just hopefully dominating in rochester. Improved play+confidence and then he can go on jacks wing for a bit. |
