Funny how Tryamkin was the second-coming of Christ on this board the entire time he was playing here - but, now all of a sudden, he's trash!...
- stringerbell

he was an exciting player to watch, and was largely compared to Chara due to size, but was never considered anything close to what you have said.

Uh... lots of ppl actually like Trauma. I think he'd be a great player in the NHL at some point. He didn't get enough playing time, which i didn't like. i agree with him he should have got more time...

Not like the Nux were fighting for a playoff spot and even if he was still learning the North american game, keeping him in the top four wouldn't have hurt our draft position.

Tryamkin doesn't like weed. He's dead to Marwood.

So to recap, our scraps are being sent to the scrap pile and we're still talking about messages from the team . The more things change...

JV will get his shot under Green.
- LordHumungous

I don't like JV, I hope he has a great year as a power forward type, hypes up his value with ppl saying he made up the distance between him and everyone else in his draft class ahead of him and we trade him for someone else... Preferably a future legit top 6 center, or top pair dman.

Thank you Carol.

Tryamkin.

Do we care?

Discuss.

I would find that refreshing.
- Marwood

I hear you....but it's not practicle. they would be shredded by the media, fans and managment. Also, I don't want a proffesional athlete on the Canucks that isn't commited to winning.

Boucher sucks! But he could be solid in Utica

on a team that is largely considered one of the worst in the game, they will never be realistic about anything, but instead give the media/fanbase optimism.
- Codes1087

It'd be cool as sh&t if they said "yeah we're not going to get pucks in deep and we intend to fail on every level possible, cus we want Dahlin to play here after we leave." Unfortunately, there's this thing called "PR" and guys like the Sedins tend to play that game.

I don't think its been limited to just the Sedin's either. I don't remember any player, knowing their season was going to be bad, openly say that they will strive for anything less than a playoff spot/cup.

If Stecher lapped him in a bag skate in pre-season, clearly he didn't take his off-season conditioning very seriously.

if skating/conditioning has ALWAYS been the weakest part of your game, showing up to camp and being lapped during one of your first practices with a new head coach is not going solidify your spot on the team lol.

Well yeah, no kidding, there's a reason he's been waived by several teams already. Canucks aren't the first, nor will the be the last.

I know.
And I know they have to say it as well. I still think back to last January when they were in a playoff position and Henrik saying "it's not a surprise that we are here."

Imagine Stringer's posts if the Sedin's said that they suck and the team is doomed

Imagine the Sedin's came out and said we will be awful and we don't care
- CanuckDon

Like when Naslund said we choked in the playoffs. Seem to remember he got fairly roasted in the media for those comments.

Might be. Cant see him getting claimed this year and depending on AHL production could also be in tough to get a contract next season
